A Narrative Study Of The Series Report On "Crouching In Village To Eliminate Poverty" Of People's Daily

On May 18,2017,People's Daily opened a column entitled "Five Years of Struggling to Eliminate Poverty by Staying in Village and Crouching Poverty".It continuously launched a series of major thematic reports to promote the advent of the Nineteenth National Congress and foster an atmosphere of public opinion.A series of reports published by the journalists on poverty alleviation by squatting in villages show the results of precise Poverty Alleviation Policies by using poverty alleviation cases in different areas and fields.As a national mainstream media,People's Daily has always been an important manifestation of the national will and major strategic principles.There are many reports on precise poverty alleviation.The series of reports of People's Daily on "Poverty Alleviation by Staying in Village and Crouching Poverty" provide valuable reference for the major media in China in terms of narrative strategies,narrative perspectives and narrative methods.Therefore,this series of reports is chosen as the research object of this paper.Based on the theory of journalistic narratology,the author uses different methods,such as literature research and case study,to make a basic narrative cognition of the series of reports of the People's Daily,and to make a detailed analysis of the presentation of its narrative text,and to think about the narrative itself of the series of reports.The full text is divided into five parts: The first chapter is an introduction.The author introduces the background,purpose and significance of the topic,explains the research content and methods adopted,and completes the definition of related concepts.Chapter two narratively cognizes the series of reports on "squatting in villages to get rid of poverty",including the basic background of its rise,the current situation and significance of its development.In the third chapter,the narrative presentation of the series of reports on poverty alleviation by squatting in villages is analyzed from three aspects: the narrative subject,the narrative perspective and the narrative mode,by combining with specific cases.Chapter four summarizes the narrative features of the series of reports on "squatting in villages to get rid of poverty",and explores its narrative significance.Chapter Five gives a narrative reflection on the deepening and Enlightenment of the series of reports on "Staying in Village and Crouching to Talk about Eliminating Poverty".The series of reports on "squatting in villages to get rid of poverty" have created a good image of the government,promoted the implementation of precise poverty alleviation policies,and promoted the development of journalism.Deepening the series of reports on "Crouching in Village to Eliminate Poverty" is the mission of news and public opinion work and the inevitable requirement of media ecological change.Accurate poverty alleviation reporting should combine narrative form with media context,three-dimensional presentation with balanced reporting,and positive propaganda with public opinion supervision.
