The teaching of ancient poetry in junior high school is an important part of Chinese textbooks,which plays an important role in cultivating students' core literacy,cognitive ability,aesthetic ability,and personality shaping.Therefore,it is very important to research the ancient poetry of junior high school.The teaching of ancient poetry in junior high school is still not ideal,and the rationality of teachers' teaching methods needs to be improved.Therefore,it is necessary to introduce the scaffolding theory into the teaching of ancient poetry in junior middle schools to improve the scientific nature of teachers' teaching methods.Scaffolding theory has achieved certain success in stimulating students' interest in learning,improving cooperative learning efficiency,and cultivating independent inquiry ability,forming a complete set of teaching methods.Teachers can use scaffolding flexibly through the stratification and differentiation of learning tasks.It can not only reduce the difficulty of teaching ancient poetry and improve the efficiency of ancient poetry teaching,but also promote students' in-depth reading,improve students' aesthetic experience,and promote students to inherit ancient poetry culture.This paper first discusses the value of scaffolding theory applied to the teaching of ancient poetry in junior high school,and then analyzes the basic form of learning scaffolding in ancient poetry in junior high school.And used the questionnaire to analyze the problems of ancient poetry in junior high schools and to propose strategies for optimizing the teaching of ancient poetry under scaffolding theory.This paper draws the following conclusions: the teaching of ancient poetry should aim at inheriting culture,so that students can feel the charm of Chinese excellent ancient poetry,so that ancient poetry can still bloom in modern times.The teaching of ancient poetry should adopt more situational teaching methods to enhance students' interest in learning.The teaching of ancient poetry should be based on the "zone of proximal development" of students to build the necessary scaffolding to promote students to change to independent learning.
