Under the influence of COVID-19,online one-to-one Chinese classes have become the best choice for parents of Chinese-American children to receive Chinese education for their children due to their more targeted and cost-effective teaching.Games have the functions of harmonious classroom atmosphere,arousing students' learning enthusiasm,and narrowing the psychological distance between teachers and students,etc.,which is an indispensable teaching method in online one-to-one Chinese class for children.At present,researches on game teaching methods for Chinese children and online one-to-one Chinese class generally have problems such as systematic deficiencies and outdated game ideas,so there is still a large research space.Based on previous researches on the classification of game teaching in Chinese class and combining with my own teaching experience,this study will summarize the basic principles of game design,put forward a set of effective design process,and make a multi-angle evaluation of the game by taking the application of teaching games used in my teaching as examples.It is expected to provide some reference for online Chinese teachers to design teaching games and use game teaching method in class.
