Words are one of the basic units that constitute sentences,and also the cornerstone of language communication.At the same time,vocabulary teaching is also an important component of teaching Chinese as a foreign language,especially for learners in the primary stage of Chinese.They need to master a large number of Chinese vocabulary and learn Chinese.Good foundation.As the Chinese language continues to heat up,many scholars have devoted themselves to the theoretical research of teaching Chinese as a foreign language,and have proposed many constructive teaching methods and strategies.However,the theory is constantly evolving on the basis of practice.We also need to constantly explore new and valuable teaching methods in specific teaching practices.This thesis starts with the vocabulary teaching of the primary Chinese as a foreign language,and combines the author's practical experience of Chinese teaching in the United States.Through the literature research,comparative experiments,questionnaires and other methods,the specific application of the game teaching method is explored and analyzed.This paper is divided into three parts: the first part is the introduction,the content includes the background of the topic and the literature review.the second part is the body part,the content is divided into four chapters,the second chapter mainly expounds the connotation and theoretical source of the game teaching method,explains the game The principles and functions of the teaching method.Combining different definitions of game teaching methods,giving my own views;and analyzing the theoretical sources of game teaching methods from the theory of "immersion" and "constructivism";summarizing theoretical principles and their role in vocabulary teaching.The third chapter analyzes in detail the two high school Chinese learning situations in my school district in Missouri,the problems encountered by students in learning vocabulary and the problems of local Chinese volunteer teachers in teaching vocabulary.The fourth chapter mainly describes the specific application of the game teaching method in the primary vocabulary learning.I divide the primary vocabulary of the two high schools into five categories,nouns,verbs,adjectives,numerals and quantifiers,each of which is implemented.The corresponding game,through the experimental group and the control group,get different classroom feedback data.It is processed and analyzed from the perspective of students,teachers and game effectiveness.The fifth chapter mainly analyzes the results obtained from the previous and late questionnaire surveys to explore the implications behind the feedback of the game teaching method before and after the implementation of the experiment,and gives some suggestions on the vocabulary teaching based on the experimental results.Summarize the advantages and disadvantages of the game teaching method in the primary vocabulary teaching.The third part is the conclusion,summarizes the conclusions of this paper,carries on reflection,and puts forward the shortcomings in this paper and the problems that need to be solved.
