This paper is based on Lingo Ace online Chinese education platform,and take the author's own teaching practice as an example.The case study was conducted on the online one-to-one Chinese teaching of two American ethnic Chinese children,by means of classroom observation and case study.This research of this paper is divided into four parts:The first part explains the research background and significance of this paper,summarizes the basic situation and existing problems of online Chinese teaching,online one-to-one Chinese teaching,and online Chinese teaching for ethnic Chinese children,explains the research ideas and methods of this paper.The second part introduces the theoretical basis of online one-to-one Chinese teaching for ethnic Chinese children,including children's cognitive development theory,constructive learning theory,post-method learning theory and heuristic teaching theory,as well as the basic situation of Lingo Ace platform,including the online teaching mode of the platform and the process of online one-to-one Chinese teaching,etc.The third part is the main research content of this paper.In this part,the author first explained the characteristics of online one-to-one Chinese teaching for ethnic Chinese children and the problems that need attention in teaching.The characteristics are as follows:The characteristics of Chinese students' special living environment,special language background and special cultural composition.Children's language learning is characterized by rich imagination and high acceptance,but poor self-control and self-discipline.Online teaching has the characteristics of high flexibility,fast update,strong resource richness and sharing,but susceptible to the influence of technologies such as the network,increased classroom problems,and poor online testing rigor.One-to-one teaching is highly targeted,guarantees input and output,the learning atmosphere is more relaxed,and the teacher-student boundary is low,but there are few interaction types and lack of collective learning atmosphere.Then the author analyzes,compares and summarizes the basic situation,emotional characteristics and cognitive style of the learners,and then took the online course "Welcome to My Home" as an example to carry out teaching design and practice,and gave feedback and reflection on teaching practice.In the feedback,the article summarized the similarities and differences in teaching two Chinese children.Similar points such as "assisted teaching through rich expressions,gestures and body movements,as well as changes in intonation,speed and tone of voice","maintaining a high level of teaching,and using a friendly and humorous teaching style to enhance classroom interest","guided teaching,"Open-ended questioning","high-frequency interaction,creating specific scenarios,allowing students to answer questions in the real world,increasing the authenticity of classroom language","flexibly adjusting teaching content,supplementing pragmatic knowledge" and "always paying attention to student status,understanding and understanding Respect students".The differences include different targeted teaching behaviors and strategies for the two students in terms of teaching language,focus on teaching skills,language rules,cultural development,and classroom management.In reflection,the author summarized the advantages of maximizing resource utilization,diversified teaching methods,and implementing heuristic teaching in teachers'teaching practice,as well as the lack of knowledge and guidance in teaching Chinese characters,and the shortcomings and directions for improvement in classroom management and control ability.It also analyzes the advantages of Lingo Ace platform,such as the reasonable use of pinyin to assist teaching,avoiding students' dependence on pinyin,and the lack of quantitative tests for students' learning outcomes,and puts forward targeted suggestions.In the fourth part,the author puts forward some thoughts on the common problems of Chinese character teaching,emotional factors,student literacy development,extracurricular learning and online teaching of Chinese children in the online one-to-one Chinese teaching for Chinese children.
