Under the guidance of the Ministry of Education,the document the guidance outline for calligraphy education in primary and secondary schools was issued in2013,and then the initial textbooks which include 11 calligraphy textbooks was approved in 2015.Since then,calligraphy education has entered a new stage.However,because the first set of calligraphy teaching is limited to many factors such as the background of the times and the length of writing time,there are many areas that need to be improved.Coupled with the rapid development of Internet resource sharing,a dazzling array of calligraphy information floods teachers and students,and calligraphy education faces new challenges and opportunities.Calligraphy education should follow the development of the times and calligraphy textbooks should keep pace with the times.Through comparative study and content analysis,this study compares and analyzes the calligraphy textbook of Primary School of Beijing Normal University(volume 1-12)and the calligraphy textbook of Primary School of Japan(volume 1-6),summarizes the similarities and differences between the two countries,discusses their respective advantages and disadvantages,and reveals the problems existing in the compilation of calligraphy textbooks in China And put forward feasible improvement suggestions,in order to provide reference for the follow-up research of calligraphy education in China.In order to achieve the effectiveness of the research,this paper was analyzed from different aspects such as: introduction,text,suggestions and conclusion.The first part is the introduction,including the reason and significance of this study,the research status at home and abroad,the research and the research methods.The main text consists of three chapters,the first chapter is the theoretical basis and related concepts of the writing of calligraphy textbooks.The second chapter interprets and analyzes the overall structure,basic concepts,objectives and contents,suggestions and requirements of the guiding outline of Chinese and Japanese calligraphy.The third chapter is the key chapter of this study.According to Bruner and Schwab's textbook structure analysis theory and the actual situation of calligraphy textbooks,the textbook structure is divided into four dimensions,namely,the aid system,the internal skill system,the external skill system and the exercise system.The third part is the summary,and in the basis of author's cognition,throw out some scientific suggestions from different dimensions.First of all,it summarizes the specific problems existing in the compilation of calligraphy textbooks in China,and extracts the points worthy of our reference in the compilation of primary school calligraphy textbooks in Japan.It also puts forward some suggestions on calligraphy textbook compilation,such as enhancing the comprehensiveness of the content,enriching the column setting of the textbook,following the law of design psychology,reasonably distributing the category and quantity of illustrations,and constructing the e-Textbook resources.
