Calligraphy is a traditional art in China,rooted in the soil of Chinese traditional culture.Primary and middle school calligraphy education is an education for primary and secondary school students to develop basic skills and appreciation of calligraphy art.It is an important way to inherit the excellent culture of the Chinese nation and cultivate patriotic feelings.It is to improve students' writing ability,cultivate aesthetic taste,cultivate sentiment and improve Cultural cultivation and important measures to promote all-round development.Since the founding of the People's Republic of China,China has attached great importance to the writing of Chinese characters for primary and secondary school students.It has officially proposed that calligraphy education in primary and secondary schools is the "Opinions on the Development of Calligraphy Education in Primary and Secondary Schools" issued by the Ministry of Education on August 2,2011.Carry out the important significance of calligraphy education,and put forward the general requirements for calligraphy education in primary and middle schools,and provide conditions and guarantee for the implementation of calligraphy education.In January 2013,the "Guidelines for the Teaching of Calligraphy Education in Primary and Secondary Schools" was promulgated.It is stipulated that from the beginning of the spring of the year,calligraphy education will be incorporated into the primary and secondary school teaching system.Students will study hard pen and brush calligraphy by age and stage [Ministry of Education of the People's Republic of China: Jiaoji II [2013] No.1,the Ministry of Education issued a notice on the "Guidelines for the Teaching of Calligraphy in Primary and Secondary Schools" ].Since then,the calligraphy education in primary and secondary schools has gradually begun to standardize and regularize.Calligraphy course is a compulsory course for basic education,and the teaching materials are the key to the development of calligraphy teaching in primary and secondary schools.In 2015,the Ministry of Education approved 11 sets of “Primary School Calligraphy Practice Guide”,which required the use of designated textbooksnationwide.The author takes 11 sets of calligraphy textbooks approved by the Ministry of Education as the research object,and comprehensively analyzes the theoretical basis,writing principles,methods and content selection of the textbooks,and selects two representative textbooks for systematic,scientific,and Objective comparative research attempts to explore the problems existing in the practical application of teaching materials,and propose feasible suggestions for the further improvement of teaching materials,with a view to promoting the development of calligraphy education in primary and secondary schools.The paper is divided into five parts.The first part introduces the reasons and background of choosing this research direction,and briefly analyzes the research status at home and abroad,and clarifies the various research methods used in the actual research and analysis process.The second part is the current situation of primary school calligraphy textbooks.The third part is a comparative analysis of the Beijing Normal University edition and the Xiangmei version of the primary school calligraphy textbook(grades 3-6);the fourth part discusses the implementation effect analysis of the Beijing Normal University edition and the Xiangmei edition(three on);In the fifth part,suggestions for the construction of more suitable primary school calligraphy textbooks are put forward.
