In junior middle school Chinese teaching,the teaching of ancient poetry and prose plays a vital role.At present,the traditional teaching of ancient poetry and prose is in the stage of paying attention to the transmission of knowledge and ignoring the cultivation of ability.The present teaching method of ancient poetry and prose in junior middle school is relatively simple,and the emphasis is on recitation and explanation of knowledge.Under the background of the new teaching material,the original teaching method of ancient poetry and prose has been difficult to adapt to the new teaching demand,the ancient poetry and prose teaching urgently needs to inject new theory.The strategy of "less teaching and more learning" is a purposeful and planned teaching method,which helps to improve the current teaching level of ancient poetry and prose.Therefore,we can try to introduce the strategy of "less teaching and more learning" into the teaching of ancient poetry and prose in junior middle school."less teaching and more learning" strategy and mathematics,politics and other disciplines to combine more research,and junior middle school Chinese teaching of ancient poetry and less research.This study,focusing on the strategy of "less teaching and more learning",explores the teaching methods of ancient poetry and prose in junior middle school under the background of the New Textbook.Firstly,the teaching concept of "less teaching and more learning" is summarized,and the theoretical basis and main characteristics of the strategy of "less teaching and more learning" are expounded.Second,the status quo of the teaching of ancient poetry and prose in junior middle school is analyzed,and the status quo of the teaching of ancient poetry and prose in junior middle school is found out through questionnaire investigation.Secondly,based on the strategy of "less teaching and more learning",the concrete steps are carried out in the teaching of ancient poetry and prose in junior middle school.The strategy of "less teaching and more learning" is divided into eight teaching links,namely,independent preview,teacher inspection,joint discussion,group display,collective comment,put forward questions,group summary,feedback and reflection.Third,the junior middle school Chinese ancient poetry and prose "less teaching more learning" strategy evaluation.Through their own practice,this paper summarizes and analyzes the research results of the teaching of ancient poetry and prose in junior middle school based on the strategy of "less teaching and more learning".Finally,in the conclusion part,it concludes that the combination of "less teaching and more learning" strategy and the teaching of ancient poetry and prose in junior middle school can enrich teaching methods and cultivate students' interest in traditional culture.Under the background of innovation-driven and education transformation,we should proceed from the reality of the classroom and do the practical research on the teaching design and improvement of ancient Chinese poetry and prose in junior middle school.Thus,the transformation of teaching value orientation,teaching design concept and teaching evaluation standard is promoted.Although there are many difficulties in the teaching reform of ancient poetry and prose in junior middle school,Chinese teachers in junior middle school should have the ability to find the effective combination of the strategy of "less teaching and more learning" and the teaching of ancient poetry and prose in junior middle school,so as to promote the development of the teaching of ancient poetry and prose in junior middle school.
