Historical figures are an important factor in the composition of history and play a driving role in the development of human history.Evaluation of historical figures are an important part of history study,the new "ordinary high school history curriculum standard(2017 edition,revised in 2020)" to "construction of historical figures,historical phenomenon,historical event correlation between" as the objective,both as a clue or connection point,the study and research should be focus on historical figures.Li Hongzhang is an important person in the process of social transformation and development in modern China,and he occupies a very prominent position in the history textbooks of middle schools.This paper takes the history textbooks of secondary schools published by People's Education Press since 1978 as the research scope,and takes Li Hongzhang's history writing as the research object.It tries to observe the presentation path of Li Hongzhang's writing and analyze the construction of multiple images of Li Hongzhang through the methods of literature analysis and longitudinal comparison.In the textbook,Li Hongzhang's writing is mainly presented through three ways:People's relationship with things,illustration presentation and group positioning.Li Hongzhang's writing is contained in the description of the Taiping Heavenly Kingdom movement,the Westernization Movement,the Sino Japanese War and other major modern historical events.The use of different types of illustrations,such as personal illustrations,career illustrations and scene illustrations,further enriched the dimension of Li Hongzhang's writing.It is also an important way of Li Hongzhang's writing to define the historical position of "Han bureaucrats" and "Westernization Group".The textbook mainly constructs Li Hongzhang as a triple image of "traitor","pioneer of modernization" and "pillar of the imperial court".Influenced by the renewal of historical research achievements and the cultivation of the core quality of the discipline,Li Hongzhang's writing in the textbook has gradually changed.Its image subject has changed from "traitor" to "pioneer of modernization",and its description mode has changed from the combination of history and theory to the narration of historical events.It is of great theoretical and practical value to study the presentation path and image construction of Li Hongzhang's writing in textbooks in comparison with middle school history teaching.This paper puts forward some suggestions: in teaching activities,teachers should pay close attention to historical research results,and accurately understand Li Hongzhang's multiple images and their changes.The understanding and application of constructivism learning theory is in line with the cultivation requirements of the core quality of the discipline.Experimental research should be carried out in teaching practice,especially in the setting of special subject course of historical figures.We should develop in lifelong learning and focus on Teachers' professional development.
