Purpose:Using cross-sectional survey research method, investigation and analysis of college students' hypertension prevalence trend and the distribution features of the risk factors of hypertension and traditional Chinese medicine symptoms, and investigate the relationship between symptoms and hypertension syndromes of traditional Chinese medicine, and to provide certain reference for hypertension prevention and control measures,in order to guide college students to establish healthy way of life behavior.Material and method:In Study 1,historical routine data analysis was adopted to collect the physical examination data of freshmen in Liaoning University of Traditional Chinese Medicine from 2015 to 2019.Some physical examination data were selected, including:Gender, age, blood pressure measurement, medical history information, calculate each of the years from 2015 to 2019 college students hypertension prevalence,from2015-2019 and the change trend of liaoning university of traditional Chinese medicine new hypertension prevalence rate is analyzed, and compare the hypertension group and hypertension in gender differences, components are compared by chi-square test,SPSS 26.0 statistical software was used to organize and analyze the data.Study two epidemiological cross-sectional survey method is used,in April 2019-June to choose shenyang university and two universities in liaoning university of traditional Chinese medicine, extraction with stratified random sampling method 1200 college students in two universities hypertension risk factors and the investigation of TCM symptoms, describe popular hypertension risk factors university students at present,The differences among gender, grade and subject categories were analyzed.Cluster analysis was conducted on TCM symptoms to explore the correlation between TCM symptoms and common hypertension type.SPSS26.0 statistical software was used to collate and analyze the data.Results:1.From 2015 to 2019,a total of 8,496 freshmen were enrolled in the physical examination of LNTCM.The prevalence of hypertension was 0.6%,1.5%,1.3%,0.9%,and 2.0%,respectively,and the overall prevalence was 1.3%,fluctuating between 0.6% and 2%. From 2015 to 2019,the prevalence of hypertension in college freshmen showed a slight upward trend(P < 0.05),the prevalence of hypertension in males was higher than that in females(P < 0.05).2.A total of 1140 questionnaires were completed, including 358 males(31.4%)and 782 females(68.6%);The average age of the respondents was(21.16±2.024)years old.385 students(33.8%)majored in medicine,271 students(23.8%)majored in science and technology,241 students(21.1%)majored in art,169 students(14.8%)majored in economics and management, and 74 students(6.5%)majored in literature and history. In this survey, the smoking rate of college students was 7.4%(84 people),the drinking rate was 15.5%(177 people),the high-salt diet rate was 15.7%(179 people),the physical activity insufficiency rate was 65.0%(741 people),the overweight and obese rate was 294 people(25.8%),and the incidence of poor mental health condition was 16.6%(189 people).Smoking rates in men are higher than in women.0.05),the distribution of smoking in freshmen and seniors was statistically different(P < 0.05),the smoking rate of seniors was higher than that of other grades(11.6%),and the smoking rate of freshmen was the lowest(4.5%).There were statistical differences in the distribution of smoking in medical science, literature and history, and art majors(P < 0.05),the lowest smoking rate was 2.1 percent for medical majors, and the highest was 14.1 percent for arts majors.Male alcohol consumption rate is higher than female alcohol consumption rate.0.05);The distribution of alcohol consumption in freshmen and seniors was statistically different(P < 0.05),the drinking rate of senior was higher than other grades(19.9%),and the drinking rate of freshman was the lowest(10.3%).The distribution of alcohol consumption in medicine, literature and history, science and technology was statistically different(P < 0.05),the lowest rate of drinking in medical majors was 10.1%,the highest rate of drinking in literature and history was 24.3%,followed by19.6% in science and technology.Women had higher rates of high-salt diets than men(P < 0.05),the high salt diet rate of medical students was the highest(18.7%),and the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05);The rate of physical inactivity in females was higher than that in males(P < 0.05),and the distribution of physical inactivity rate in medicine, science and technology, economics and management, and literature and history was statistically different(P < 0.05).The rates of overweight and obesity in males were higher than those in females(P < 0.05).There were significant differences in overweight and obesity among freshman, senior, medical and art classes(P < 0.05).The rate of mental health of female was higher than that of male(P < 0.05).There were statistically significant differences in poor mental health status between sophomores, seniors, medical students and art students(P < 0.05).3.TCM symptoms from high to low were irritability 104(9.1%),insomnia 85(7.5%),five irritability 82(7.2%),waist and knee pain and softness 81(7.1%),drowsiness 80(7.0%),vomiting sputum saliva 62(5.4%),mouth pain 60(5.3%),constipation 52(4.6%),headache46(4.0%),dizziness 46(4.0%).Tinnitus 37(3.2%)headiness 34(3.0%)night sweat 34(3.0%)shortness of breath 19(1.7%)palpitation 18(1.6%)nocturia 15(1.3%)chest tightness 14 (1.2%)chills 14(1.2%)cold limbs 14(1.2%)dry mouth 12(1.1%)amnesia 10 (0.9%).Through systematic cluster analysis of TCM symptoms with frequency greater than or equal to 20,three symptom groups were obtained: C1: insomnia, irritability, constipation, mouth pain,headache;C2: five irritable heat, waist and knee pain and weakness, night sweats, ringing in the ears;C3: drowsiness,headiness,vomiting,saliva,dizziness.Conclusion:1.The prevalence of hypertension among freshmen of Liaoning University of Traditional Chinese Medicine showed a slight increase from 2015 to 2019,so primary prevention of hypertension should be carried out among college students.2.The prevalence of hypertension in males is higher than that in females. Therefore, more attention should be paid to males in the prevention of hypertension.3.This survey shows that hypertension risk factors are prevalent in college students, and there are differences in the distribution of hypertension risk factors among different genders, grades and disciplines. Therefore, attention should be paid to the prevention and control of hypertension risk factors among college students.4.The tendency of TCM syndromes in college students is mainly burning liver fire, excessive phlegm and dampness, and deficiency of liver and kidney Yin.There are pathological changes of TCM syndromes of hypertension, and the tendency of hypertension.
