Objective To investigate the prevalence of hypertension and pre-hypertension among college students in Inner Mongolia and analyze the related influencing factors. To understand the prevalence of hypertension and pre-hypertension among college students in Inner Mongolia, and to understand the life style, psychological status and exercise of college students. In order to improve people's attention to the situation of hypertension in college students, and put forward targeted prevention strategies. While providing data for the prevention and treatment of hypertension among young students. Methods A total of 5000 students were sampled from college students by random cluster sampling. The trained researchers participated in the physical examination to measure the body height, weight, abdominal circumference, blood pressure, pulse rate and record the data.At the same time,a questionnaire survey was conducted. The contents of the survey included personal general information, life behavior?diet, smoking, drinking?,sleep, exercise, psychological condition.Collecting and collateing the data and carry on the related statistical analysis.EPidata3.1 software is used to input data and proofread logically under the guidance of professionals.General descriptive analysis was carried out by using ECXEL2007and SPSS21.0 statistical software.the counting data were expressed as rate?%?.??17?test was used to compare the inter-group rate. The statistically significant factors were included in the multivariate Logistic regression model to analyze the prehypertension and related risk factors of hypertension.Results?1?General information. This study included a total of 5000 college students of different grades, sent out a total of 5000questionnaires,and collected 4830 valid questionnaires, with an effective rate of 97%.There were 1911 men, accounting for 39.6%,and 2919 women, accounting for 60.4%.There are 3333 students of Han nationality, accounting for 69%;1348 students of Mongolian nationality, accounting for 27.9%;and students of other nationalities, accounting for 3.1%.Among the college students surveyed, the smoking rate was6.2%and the drinking rate was 21.9%.63.7%of the students sleep less than 7 hours a day.42.4%of the students exercise less than once a week,36.8%of the students exercise less than 3 times a week, and only 20.6%of the students exercise more than3 times a week. The proportion of obese and overweight students reached 26.9%,of which the proportion of obese and overweight boys was 37.9%?725/1911?,and the proportion of obese and overweight girls was 19.7?577/2919?.According to the investigation of psychological discomfort,it is found that psychological discomfort is common among college students, which mainly includes five kinds of psychological discomfort:mental tension, anxiety, stress, irritability and loneliness.Among them,64.3%of the students had the above psychological discomfort, and the duration was different.28.6%of the students had 1 item of psychological discomfort, and 35.7%of the students had 2 items of psychological discomfort.?2?Prevalence of hypertension and pre-hypertension.The survey found that the prevalence rate of hypertension was11.4%in males and 2.3%in females in a university in Inner Mongolia. The prevalence rate of males was higher than that of females, and the difference was statistically significant?P<0.05?.The incidence of hypertension in Han students was higher than that in Mongolian students, but lower than that in students of other nationalities, and the difference was not statistically significant?P>0.05?.With increasing age,the prevalence of hypertension Increase, and the difference is statistically significant?P<0.05?.There was no significant difference in the prevalence of hypertension among different places of origin?P>0.05?.Univariate analysis showed that sex, age, drinking, smoking, lack of exercise, sleeping snoring, mental and emotional disorders, overweight and obesity, abdominal obesity were associated with hypertension?P<0.05?.Multivariate regression analysis showed that women were protective factors for hypertension.Snoring, less exercise, psychological discomfort, overweight and obesity may be risk factors for hypertension. The survey found that the detection rate of pre-hypertension was 39.7%in males and 14.5%in females. The detection rate of pre-hypertension in males was significantly higher than that in females. There was no significant difference in the detection rate of pre-hypertension among different nationalities and different places of origin?P>0.05?.The incidence of pre-hypertension increased with age?P<0.05?.The results of univariate analysis showed that sex, age, diet, drinking, smoking, insufficient exercise, sleeping snoring, psychological and emotional disorders, overweight and obesity, abdominal obesity were correlated with pre-hypertension.The difference was statistically significant?P<0.05?.Multivariate regression analysis showed that female was the protective factor of prehypertension, and exercise less than once a week, psychological discomfort, overweight and obesity may be the risk factors of hypertension. Conclusion The subjects of this survey were 4830 people, there were 285 patients with hypertension, and the prevalence rate of hypertension was 5.9%.The detection rate of prehypertension was 1182,and the detection rate of prehypertension was24.5%.
