Research On Space Intensive Design Of High-density Primary And Secondary School Campuses

With the continuous deepening of urbanization and the reform of primary and secondary education in China,the contradiction between people and land in terms of the construction of primary and secondary schools has become increasingly prominent.In some cities,the land for primary and secondary campus construction is gradually unable to keep up with the rapid increase in the population of school-age children.In addition,the contemporary educational ideas and teaching modes put more emphasis on efficient utilization of campus space.The intensive design of campus space is an effective way to solve these abovementioned problems.Underpinned by the relevant theories of intensive design regarding high-density primary and secondary schools,this paper introduces the spatial intensive design of high-density primary and secondary campus by means of literature research,case analysis and practical application,which finally guides the intensive design of the primary department of PKU New Century Zhangqiu school.First of all,this paper elaborated and compared the history and current situation with regard to intensive design of campus space at home and abroad,which contributed to a better understanding of the significance of the present research.With the interpretation on intensive campus space design,two aspects of intensive campus space design were illustrated,namely,the high-density design of campus space and the efficient design of teaching space.The high-density design of campus space is the focus of this study.With the help of a large number of high-density campus cases at home and abroad,the author summarized the intensive design strategy of high-density campus space,that is,a comprehensive educational space with integrated functions,a breakthrough in terms of the number of floors of campus buildings,and composite multi-functional utilization of sports areas.Then,the author conducted an in-depth research and analysis on this design strategy and makes a certain quantitative comparison,so as to make the intensive design strategy summarized more reasonable and intuitive.Finally,the intensive design strategy obtained was used to carry out the intensive design of the primary school campus space of PKU New Century Zhangqiu school,which further reflects the practical significance of the intensive design strategy of high-density primary and secondary school campus space.The quantitative analysis of the intensive design strategy of high-density campus space and its application in the design project are the innovation of this research.However,limited by the research ability and design level,the article also has some deficiencies in the depth of the research content,which can be improved in future research.
