As people’s lives become more prosperous, fertility and education policies are being introduced,high-density cities seek new development momentum, and parents and society are highly concerned about the growth of their children and new visions, all of which promote the improvement of campus construction mode and environmental quality. The concept of intensive development is precisely the designer’s "good medicine" for coping with the "urban disease",looking forward to the future development of primary and secondary schools, and for the continuation of sustainability. The launch of Shenzhen’s "New Campus Action Plan" activities can be regarded as the official collective appearance of the new development concept of campus intensification in China.Since the launch of this plan,it has quickly attracted continuous attention from the construction industry and the mass media. From this phenomenon,it is not difficult to feel that the scarcity of land resources and the urgent need for regional education have gradually become a pair of contradictions. The society upholds the attitude of eagerness, and it is also an area where construction practitioners continue to pay attention.Various new campus construction models are emerging one after another..While admiring the progress of the design concept,we should also treat it with a cautious attitude and analyze it with empirical eyes,so as to achieve a more long-term and healthy development. As a place of human settlement, architecture is supposed to be "people-oriented".Therefore,in the process of empirical analysis,we just blindly use the "quality inspection" thinking mode to rigidly check, and some deviate from the essence of architectural design. The user’s subjective feelings participate in it,and the architectural evaluation can appear to be "warm",so as to truly discover the hidden spirit and flaws of the place. The research of POE theory(post-use evaluation of buildings)is through systematic thinking and demonstration, integrating human perspective to observe and analyze the quality of the built environment, and then let the evaluation object feedback objective and conducive information to the development of the human settlement environment. This article first conducts relevant basic research on the POE theory, and combines the specific characteristics of primary and secondary school users and the administrative management mode of the campus to define and innovate the scope of evaluation subjects and evaluation methods involved.Secondly, the author conducted a preliminary survey on the current situation of 18 primary and secondary schools in Jingzhou. On the one hand,it analyzes the common problems in traditional campuses. On the other hand,it lists the intensive transformation methods that have appeared in some traditional primary and secondary schools in Jingzhou. At the same time, the main characteristics of intensive primary and secondary school campuses are summarized, and the forward-looking nature of this kind of architectural design is explained, and this is used as the guiding direction of the post-use evaluation research of primary and secondary school campuses. Finally, through the empirical evaluation study of the intensive campus case of "Shabei Experimental School",the actual evaluation data is used to illustrate the feasibility and unique advantages of the intensive campus space,as well as the future development direction of the theoretical method of post-evaluation.
