Research On Intensive Design Strategy Of External Space In Urban Primary And Secondary Schools

The continuous development of urbanization has led to a sharp decline in the construction land of large and medium-sized cities.The development of new concepts of quality education has placed new demands on the spatial function of primary and secondary schools.The contradiction between the two has become increasingly acute.Under the background of limited campus land use,this paper proposes an intensive design of the external space of primary and secondary schools to solve the contradiction between the school venue scale and the teaching function space.During the postgraduate study,I participated in the design practice project of some school buildings with the tutor in the school design institute.During the writing of the thesis,I investigated a large number of actual cases of primary and secondary schools,collected new excellent school projects,and sorted out the utilization status and composition of the external environment of the campus.Form,design elements and main types.In addition,a large number of practical projects for the intensive external space of China's new primary and secondary schools are analyzed,and several strategies suitable for the intensive design of the external space of the campus are summarized,which serves as a support for guiding the external space intensification of practical projects.This paper introduces the background meaning,research status,theoretical concepts and research routes of thesis writing.Then,based on the type and composition of the external space of the campus,the main types of the external space of the primary and secondary schools,the constituent elements and the main types of space are analyzed.From the perspective of intensification theory,it combs the connotation and development of intensification,and constructs four categories of external spatial intensive design and five intensive design principles.Then we discuss the spatial intensification strategy of external space from four aspects: first,the planning layout is reasonable and compact,second,the composite external space strategy,third,the base space infiltrates into the softening,and fourth,the transformation of the transportation space function.Then we discuss the functional intensification strategies of external space from five aspects: one is the entrance plaza integration strategy,the other is the sports venue compound strategy,the third is the courtyard green space intensive strategy,the fourth is the roof site concentration strategy,and the fifth is the traffic function efficiency strategy.Finally,a practical project is used to discuss the application of the external space intensification strategy in practice.Finally,it is concluded that it is necessary to comprehensively solve the multi-faceted problems of the campus by intensively utilizing the external space of urban primary and secondary schools.
