The Development Of China-Europe Freight Trains Under The Background Of "One Belt, One Road"

Since its debut,the CR Express has given full play to its comparative advantages in terms of timeliness,capacity,cost efficiency,stability and safety,and gradually developed into an important gripper for the Belt and Road initiative and a famous international logistics brand.CR Express not only provides capacity guarantee for the economic development of China’s central and western regions,but also connects the active East Asian economic circle and the developed European trade circle as well as put forward the bilateral relation between China and EU.In 2020,in the face of the Covid-19 pandemic and the extremely limited international shipping and air transport capacity,the CR Express train went upstream to fight the pandemic,becoming a powerful channel of stabilizing the international logistics supply chain and smoothing international cooperation in the transportation of anti-pandemic materials.However,we still notice that CR Express still in the early stage of development and has problems in geopolitical threats,inaccurate market positioning,insufficient supporting capacity,insufficient market demand,ineffective personnel training and poor customs clearance and facilitation,which seriously hinder the future high-quality development of the train and need to be regulated and improved.This paper takes the function and role of government as the entry point,uses the statistical analysis method and pest analysis model to systematically sort out the development process and operation status of CR Express,summarizes the difficulties and challenges faced by CR Express in geopolitics,market demand,transportation organization,operation mechanism,talent training,etc.Finally,based on the strategy of high-quality development of the trains,we will make in-depth consideration and propose practical and operable measures,with a view to providing theoretical reference for the rapid improvement of CR Express in the post-pandemic era,stimulating the development of the Belt and Road initiative and realizing the rapid interconnection and interaction between China and Europe.
