Started in the industrial revolution,the productive forces of human society advanced by leaps and bounds.China has made remarkable development achievements in just a few decades,which is inseparable from the rapid progress of industrialization.Under the background of rapid social and economic development,imbalanced and inadequate development and resource and environmental problems have become increasingly prominent.Industry is an important driving force for economic growth.Imbalanced industrial development will inevitably aggravate the polarization of regional development.From the perspective of man-land relationship system,industrial development needs to obtain resources directly or indirectly from nature and return certain pollutants.Therefore,the regional differences of industrial development and the coupling coordination with resource environment are the focal points of regional coupling coordination and sustainable development.The Guanzhong Plain urban agglomeration involves Shaanxi,Shanxi and Gansu provinces,with a large regional span and prominent environmental problems.Under the background of the China's western development campaign,the rise of central China and the establishment of Guanzhong Plain urban agglomerations,it is of great significance to explore the industrial development process for reference and guidance of the future development of urban agglomerations in the Guanzhong Plain.This study used mathematical statistics,coefficient of variation,Nich index,Morans' I index,hot spot analysis and other methods to analyze the spatial and temporal differences of industrial development in Guanzhong Plain urban agglomeration.Using gravity model and social network analysis to explore the state of industrial connection between cities;By constructing an evaluation system of industrial development and resource environment,the coupling coordination degree model and exponential smoothing method were used to study the coupling coordination between industrial development and resource environment in Guanzhong Plain urban agglomeration.The research conclusions are as follows:(1)From the perspective of industrial development difference,the industrial imbalance of Guanzhong Plain urban agglomeration has intensified from 2003 to 2018,and the absolute and relative differences are both at a high level.The difference of industrial development rate tends to be flat,but due to the difference of the different foundation,industrial imbalance will not be reduced,and the overall development rate will decline,facing certain pressure of growth in the future.On the spatial scale,there are different development characteristics between provinces and between urban and nonurban areas.The industry of Gansu province has been in a low level of development,Shaanxi province has been maintaining a good stable state,and the industry of Shanxi Province has experienced a process from prosperity to decline.The industrial development rate of the whole urban area is better than that of the non-urban area,but the difference between urban and rural areas is improving gradually.The industrial development rate of Guanzhong Plain urban agglomeration has a significant positive spatial correlation,and the agglomeration phenomenon is obvious.Hot spot area of rapid industrial development presents a trend of agglomeration from "northeast-southwest" to central of urban agglomeration,and the cold spots with low development rate change from scattered to "two wings" pattern.According to the key development areas and ecological function areas divided in the "Guanzhong Plain Urban Agglomeration Development Plan",the industrial development of some districts and counties need to adapt to the regional development orientation.(2)From the perspective of urban industrial connection,Xi'an,Xianyang and Tongchuan always occupy the first place of industrial gravity value,which is mainly concentrated in the central area of urban agglomeration.The industrial gravity value of the east and west wings is low,showing a "core-edge" structure and polarization effect.The industrial attraction of the areas with high gravity value is getting stronger and stronger.The gravity value of Tianshui,Pingliang,Linfen and other low level areas gradually decreased,while the industrial gravity value of Baoji and Shangluo near Xi 'an and Xianyang affected by radiation gradually increased.The differentiation of industrial connection between cities is intensified.In terms of the direction of connection,the degree of connection between Linfen and Yuncheng,Xi 'an,Xianyang and Tongchuan is relatively high,while the degree of connection between the three cities in Gansu is generally not high.Among the inter-provincial links,Baoji has more industrial links with regional cities in Gansu,and Weinan has more industrial links with Shanxi,and Qingyang has more industrial links with Shanxi.The geographical location and industrial direction are the important reasons that affect the industrial links.The social network analysis shows that Xi 'an,Xianyang and Tongchuan,which have higher degree centrality and intermediate centrality,occupy the core position in the industrial connection network of Guanzhong Plain urban agglomeration.They have frequent contact with other cities and serve as a bridge of communication.(3)From the perspective of the coupling coordination between industry and resource environment,on the whole,the industrial development level of Guanzhong Plain urban agglomeration increased continuously from 2003 to 2018,while the resource environment level showed a trend of first increasing and then decreasing.The industrial development has experienced the stages of slow growth,rapid development and the new normal,while the resource and environmental level has experienced the stages of slow rise,rapid development and slow decline.The phase change cycles of the two systems are roughly the same.Correspondingly,the degree of coupling coordination between the two changes from slow growth to fast growth and then to high oscillation.From the near mismatch in 2003 to the good coordination in 2018,the relationship between industrial development and resource environment coordination in Guanzhong Plain urban agglomeration has improved on the whole,but the exponential smoothing prediction shows that the coupling coordination degree will decline in the future.There are great differences between cities.Compared with 2003,the coupling coordination degree of Yuncheng,Linfen,Xi'an and Pingliang decreased in 2018,while the coupling coordination level of Shangluo increased significantly.The total amount of profit and tax per capita,water consumption per unit industrial output value and sulfur dioxide emission per unit industrial output value have great influence on the coupling coordination degree.The high pressure area of industrial resource environment pressure in Guanzhong Plain urban agglomeration changed from concentration to dispersion.The industrial resource environment pressure in Pingliang,Tongchuan and Yuncheng was relatively high,and the overall pressure value of urban agglomeration was close to the median range.
