Research On Social Work Participation In Rural Community Elderly Care Service Practice ——Take X Village In Province G As An E Xample

In recent years,with the advancement of new urbanization,the aging and hollowing out of underdeveloped rural areas are intertwined.The mismatch between the current level of elderly care services and the increasingly diverse elderly care needs of the elderly is prominent.How to promote elderly care services in rural communities is an issue that must be faced and considered at the moment.This research focuses on social work participation in community elderly care services in Village X.Through on-the-spot investigation,we come to understand the service needs of the elderly in Village X and the current situation of community elderly care services in Village X.With different production and living conditions,there are obvious differences in pension needs.The elderly in village X have unmet multi-level elderly care needs such as daily care,health care,spiritual comfort and life interaction.In the field investigation,I find that the elderly care service in X Village has the following four levels of dilemma: insufficient participation of the elderly in the elderly care service and insufficient self-support ability;the function of family care is degraded and cannot provide sufficient economic and spiritual support for the elderly;The awareness and ability to develop elderly care services in the community are insufficient;government public services cannot guarantee all the elderly in the community.On this basis,based on the social support theory and the new endogenous development theory,social workers use community work methods to analyze,connect and integrate the human,material,financial,organizational and cultural resources of the elderly inside and outside the X village,build an elderly care service center,improve Infrastructure for the elderly in Village X;establish an association for the elderly,set up a team of elderly volunteers,cultivate an organization for the elderly in the village,increase the main body of elderly care service in Village X,and promote self-service for the elderly in Village X.Since then,with the elderly service station as a platform,social workers have assisted the elderly association to connect with social organizations outside the village,village committees,etc.to provide daily care,health care,spiritual comfort,community activities and other services for the elderly in the village.The study find that under the background of low economic level and weak public services in underdeveloped areas,rural communities should actively revitalize local pension resources,and multiple entities such as the government,communities,and social organizations should take joint actions to jointly promote the development of rural community pension services.In the process of participating in community elderly care services,social workers should make full use of group and community work methods to cultivate internal elderly care forces in the community,assist the community to absorb and utilize e Xternal elderly care resources,and provide diversified and differentiated elderly care services based on the needs of the elderly.Improve the awareness and ability of the entire community elderly care services.
