Study On The Present Situation Of Community Day-care Service For The Aged And Its Improvement Countermeasures

With the rise of the population ageing,the trend of nuclear and miniaturization of the family,the decline of the function of family support for the aged,and the outstanding demand of the elderly for the aged,the issue of providing for the aged has become a topic of common concern in society.As a supplement to institutional and family care,community home care for the aged can relieve the pressure of family care and enable the elderly to live in the community they know well,is a more in line with China’s traditional culture and suitable for the elderly care way.Among them,the community day care service for the aged is an important part of the community home care service for the aged.We can improve the quality of the community day care service for the aged by doing a good job in the daily service of the community day care service center for the aged,to help the elderly better support their retirement in the community and enhance their quality of life.Guided by the theory of community care,the author took the L community day care service Center in G City as an example to study the practical situation and improvement measures of the community day care service center,so as to summarize the service experience of the community day care service center and provide action framework and service guidance for other similar projects.This study first according to the disability of the elderly is the elderly can be divided into three categories,respectively is total self-care elders,half a disability disability,elderly and elderly through interviews in the form of demand analysis of the elderly,found in the action to take care of the elderly,material support,psychological support and overall care four sorts of service requirements,and on this basis,design the four service content.In the process of concrete practice,the development of specific services is presented by using assisted meals and daily care services in response to action care needs,convocation of loving resources and micro-wish actions in response to material support needs,spiritual comfort and social development services in response to psychological support needs,and recreational and voluntary services in response to overall care needs.By summarizing the development of the service,the service has achieved the effect of improving the quality of life of the elderly,resolving their worries and difficulties,strengthening psychological support and assisting in adaptation.However,there is still room for improvement and improvement in services due to unclear crowd classification and vague demand assessment,service design and system thinking to be improved,weak publicity and promotion,less participation of social resources,and insufficient hardware settings and staffing.Finally,through research,it is found that the services of community day care service centers for the elderly can be improved and improved in four aspects.One is to focus on the disabled and vulnerable elderly,and the stratified classification of this group;the other is to pay attention to the evaluation system and custody services.The third is to build a social support network,focusing on cultivating and developing volunteers;the fourth is to give full play to the professional advantages and value of social work to achieve inter-professional teamwork.
