The Influence Of Manipulation Skills On Children’s Behavioral Self-regulation Ability

This study explored the relationship between manipulative skills and behavioral self-regulation by testing 5-6-year-old children’s manipulation skills and behavioral self-regulation.On this basis,ball games are selected as the intervention method to explore the influence of developing manipulation skills on the behavioral self-regulation ability of5-6-year-old children,promote the improvement of children’s manipulation skills and behavioral self-regulation ability,and provide a reasonable basis for the kindergarten exercise curriculum.Arrangement and implementation provide reference.The methods used in the study include literature review,experiment,and mathematical statistics.First,cluster sampling was conducted on 126 children aged 5-6 in Haicheng Xinchang Kindergarten and Little Turtle Kindergarten to test the children’s manipulation skills and behavioral self-regulation;A total of 46 tested children in the large class were randomly set as the experimental group and the other class as the control group for 8 weeks of experimental intervention.TGMD-3 and HTKS were used to test children’s manipulation skills and behavioral self-regulation ability to verify the effect of 8-week manipulation skills practice on children’s behavioral self-regulation ability.The results showed:(1)In terms of the correlation between children’s manipulation skills and behavioral self-regulation,the total score of manipulation skills(r=0.269),the two-handed catching action(r=0.288),and the low-handed throwing action(r=0.264)There is a very significant low-degree positive correlation with behavioral self-regulation ability.(2)After the intervention,the level of manipulation skills of the children in the experimental group was significantly higher than that of the children in the control group,and there were extremely significant differences in the total score of manipulation skills and the scores of each action between the two groups(P<0.001).After the experimental intervention,there was a significant difference in the total score of manipulation skills between boys and girls in the experimental group(P<0.05),and there was no significant difference in the total score of manipulation skills between boys and girls in the control group(P>0.05).Before and after the intervention in the experimental group,there were extremely significant differences in the total score of the children’s manipulation skills and the scores of each action(P<0.001);there was no significant difference in the total scores of the children’s manipulation skills before and after the intervention in the control group(P>0.05).(3)After the experimental intervention,there was an extremely significant difference in behavioral self-regulation between the experimental group and the control group(P<0.001).After the experimental intervention,there was no significant difference between the two groups in the behavioral self-regulation ability of boys and girls(P>0.05).Before and after the intervention in the experimental group,there was an extremely significant difference in the children’s behavioral self-regulation ability(P<0.001);there was a significant difference in the behavioral self-regulation ability of the children in the control group before and after the intervention(P<0.05).Conclusion:(1)Children’s behavioral self-regulation ability will increase with the improvement of manipulative skills,but the increase is not obvious.(2)Manipulation skills practice and daily physical activities in kindergartens can both improve children’s behavioral self-regulation ability of 5-6 years old,but manipulation skills practice is not effective for children.The improvement of behavioral self-regulation ability is better.Suggestions:(1)From the perspective of developing children’s manipulation skills,attention should be paid to the development of children’s sports games involving equipment manipulation,and the principles of safety,universality,and functionality should be followed in the process of game development.By increasing the resources of children’s manipulation skills games,kindergartens,teachers and parents can use scientific games to improve the level of children’s manipulation skills.(2)Improve teachers and parents’ attention to the development of children’s manipulation skills and behavioral self-regulation,and intervene through appropriate and effective manipulation skills games in kindergarten activities and family activities to promote children’s manipulation skills and behavioral self-regulation Ability to improve,prepare children for future motor skills development and further education.(3)In the process of developing children’s manipulation skills and behavioral self-regulation ability,preschool education and family education should jointly participate and cooperate,reasonably set the content of manipulation skills development and cognitive development in the kindergarten exercise curriculum,and pay attention to family parent-child sports activities.The practice of middle-level manipulation skills enables kindergartens and families to jointly promote the coordinated development of children’s basic motor skills and cognitive abilities.
