Research purposes : Basic motor skills are the basis for children to learn sports skills and participate in sports activities. It is also a key factor to promote children ’ s sports participation and develop good health habits.Children with intellectual disabilities(ID children)are more backward than normal children(TD children)in both physical and motor development. This study aims to explore the intervention effect of functional exercises on the development of basic motor skills of ID children aged 7 – 10,so as to improve the basic motor skills of ID children, promote their physical and mental health development, provide new intervention methods for their basic motor skills, and provide reference for the physical education curriculum content of ID children.Research result:(1)The basic motor skills of ID children measured in the pre-test were lower than those of normal children. There were differences in the development of basic motor skills, movement skills and control skills between different ages(P<0.01),but no difference in balance skills(P>0.05).There was a difference in the total score between male and female students(P<0.01),and there was no difference in other sub-test dimensions.(2)The total scores of ID children’s displacement skills, control skills and basic motor skills before and after the intervention were 15.72,19.76,and 37.03 points, respectively, showing a very significant difference(P<0.01).There was no significant difference in balance skills before and after the intervention, but the completion rate increased.24.3%.(3)The total scores of the subjects’ displacement skills, operation skills and basic motor skills in the eighth week, the twelfth week and the sixteenth week were improved by 9.33 points,16.06 points and 11.64 points compared with the previous test, which were all the same as the previous test. There was a statistically significant difference between the two tests(P<0.01),and there was no statistical difference between the balance skills in each week and the pretest(P>0.05),but the movement completion rates were improved.Research conclusions:(1)The development status of basic motor skills of7-10-year-old ID children is poor, boys are better than girls, older people are better than younger ones, and movement skills are better than control skills than balance skills.(2)After the intervention, the basic movements of 7-10-year-old ID children were significantly improved in different dimensions. The movement skills were better than the control skills and the balance skills. The movement skills and control skills were significantly improved before and after the intervention. The situation is improving.(3)The basic motor skills of 7-10-year-old ID children were improved in different interventions, and the longer the intervention time, the better the intervention effect. |
