The problem of left-behind children in rural areas is a social problem and needs more external support.Good interpersonal relationships can provide beneficial support for the physical and mental health of left-behind children.Childhood is also a critical period for the development of interpersonal skills.Under the guidance of empowerment theory and group dynamics theory,this paper uses social work,social psychology,communication and other related disciplines to carry out applied research on improving the interpersonal skills of rural left-behind children in group work.First of all,based on literature analysis,grasp the theoretical research dynamics of left-behind children in rural areas,find the starting point of the research,and determine the research ideas and framework.At the same time,on the basis of theoretical analysis,the core concepts of group work,left-behind children,and interpersonal competence are laid a theoretical foundation for the development of follow-up research;secondly,a preliminary survey of the interpersonal competence of rural left-behind children Common problems faced in the communication process;again,on the basis of preliminary research and theoretical analysis,design team intervention plans,formulate plans,recruit team members,and organize team intervention activities.The activities are divided into early,mid and late stages to gradually improve the interpersonal skills of group members.A total of six group activities were organized,and the effect of group intervention was evaluated after the activities.Finally,summarize the effectiveness of the group work,analyze experience and shortcomings,and provide references for follow-up supportive research on the interpersonal communication of left-behind children in rural areas.This research adopts the group social work method to gather the rural left-behind children who have interpersonal communication difficulties in the form of small groups.In the group,the inner world of the left-behind children is opened,and the relevant content of interpersonal skills is integrated into the game to strengthen the group group.The sense of identity and interaction of the staff members in order to form a concrete,practical,new model for the study of left-behind children’s interpersonal communication.Research has pointed out that the involvement of group work in rural left-behind children to improve their interpersonal skills has achieved certain results.At the same time,further promotion is needed to form a large-scale and normalized group work.In the process of "helping others to help themselves",guide left-behind children to increase their self-confidence.,Master the ways and methods of interpersonal communication.
