Case Work Intervention In Emotional Management Of Elderly Patients With Chronic Diseases

Chronic disease,as a lifelong disease,has gradually become a major livelihood issue concerning the overall situation.The elderly under the influence of long-term diseases are more prone to depression,feeling powerless,and more likely to suffer from depression,which makes them less confident in recovery and life,and that reduces the quality of life.This paper uses participatory observation method and action research method to use rational emotion therapy and social support model to explore the casework method to intervene the experience of emotional management of elderly patients with chronic diseases in old service center C through the service of comprehensive old service center of J City HF.Enrich the knowledge and skills of chronic disease management by linking resources;Guide the debate between the client and the irrational belief;Expand the client’s social circle and increase the interpersonal communication ability;Rationally vent negative emotions and consolidate rational lifestyle.The service objectives were basically achieved and the professional relationship was ended.There are the following findings: first,the prevalence of disease management knowledge and techniques is an important loop in the management of emotions,second,debate on irrational beliefs with the responsible author is a breakthrough in the problem-solving process,third,the social support of peer group plays an essential role in the process of social network restruction,and fourth,effective linking of social resources is key to maintaining the effectiveness of social worker services.Finally,the author also expects that in the future,all parties work together to establish a multi-directional linkage mechanism;and strengthen the strength of social work professional training and use,to help the scientific management of emotions and diseases,in older patients with chronic diseases,and to improve the quality of life.
