With the acceleration of population aging and the constant adjustment of family structure in China,the function of home-based care is gradually weakened,the awareness of young people's support is weak,and the construction of various systems for community pension is not perfect.Therefore,more and more elderly people choosing to support the elderly in social service organizations,institutional pensions have become an important way for the elderly to support the elderly.Old people in the old-age care institutions belong to special groups in the vulnerable groups.They often suffer from various diseases,and chronic diseases are more common in the elderly groups of the old-age care institutions.Studies have shown that chronic diseases can increase the incidence of depressive symptoms in the elderly.Abnormal body metabolism,unacceptable and adaptable diseases,changes in family relationships,etc.are all likely to cause psychological stress to the patient,which may cause emotional disorders and affect physical health.Depression is the most common emotional problem in patients with chronic diseases.Therefore,improving the depression of the elderly in chronic care institutions is crucial to alleviating the psychological stress of the elderly and improving their health.In this study,the elderly D patients with chronic diseases in Wuhan L Welfare Institute were used as the target,and the case work method was used to try to use the rational emotional therapy to intervene in the depression problem of D elderly.Based on the theory of emotional ABC and the theory of emotional self-efficacy,this study designs a case-based service plan based on the unique needs of elderly patients with chronic diseases.The whole intervention process is centered on the bias belief of the main amendment,and the intervention process is divided into deep excavation.Deviation beliefs,refutation of irrational beliefs,consolidation of acquired cognition,reconstruction of interpersonal communication networks,comprehensive use of rational emotional therapy related debate techniques and the irrational beliefs of the client to refute and help the case correct irrationality Faith forms a rational cognition.This study used two assessment methods: process evaluation and effect evaluation.In the aspect of process evaluation,it mainly includes observation of the preparation period,the evaluation of the intervention,and the evaluation of the completion period.Effectiveness assessment includes quantitative assessment and qualitative assessment.The quantitative assessment mainly uses the Self-rating Depression Scale(SDS)to measure the client's target;the qualitative assessment includes the degree of achievement of the target,the self-feedback of the client,the assessment of the social worker's social worker and the roommate,and the self-assessment of the social worker.Aspects.The results of the study showed that rational emotional therapy has a significant effect in alleviating the depression of the elderly with chronic diseases.After the case service work activities,the irrational beliefs of the elderly are reduced and the depression is improved.
