As the number of floating population and the scale of family migration continue to increase,the number of floating children is more and more.The problem of migrant children has gradually become a hot issue of social concern.Compared to non-migrant children,migrant children are more likely to have psychological problems.Resilience is a positive quality displayed in adversity,which plays a key role in the healthy development of migrant children.Improving the level of migrant children’s resistance needs to start from the perspective of advantages and to help migrant children to explore their own potential and advantages.In order to promote the physical and mental health development of migrant children and help them adapt the environment,we should help them to improve their self-awareness and self-confidence and enhance the interpersonal and problem solving skills.The author took the migrant children in XHY community of Baoding City,Hebei Province as the research object.This paper adopts literature research method,questionnaire method,semi-structured interview method,action research method and scale method.Firstly,the author used the Adolescent Adversity Resistance Inventory(CYRM28)adapted by Professor Tian Guoxiu to measure the resilience level of migrant children in XHY community to evaluate the overall resilience level of migrant children in XHY community.According to the measurement results and interview materials,the necessity and feasibility of improving the resilience of migrant children in XHY community were analyzed.From the migrant children of XHY community,six migrant children with low resistance were recruited to form a growth group.The author carried out 7 group activities mainly from the three factors of self-cognition and self-identity,sense of purpose and meaning,and social competence to help team members find their own advantages,improve their self-confidence and interpersonal skills,improve parent-child relationship and enhance the level of resilience.In the evaluation stage,the author measured the stress resistance level of 6 group members in the later period with the Adolescent Adversity Resistance Inventory(CYRM28)adapted by Professor Tian Guoxiu.Combined with the evaluation of the group activities from the group members,their parents,their teachers and the social workers to evaluate the intervention effect of the group work comprehensively.It was concluded that the level of the group members’ resistance to adversity has been significantly improved.At the same time,the author summarized and reflected on the overall process of the activity.The group work involved in the improvement of migrant children’s resilience is professional and effective,but there are still some problems and deficiencies in the process of the activity.Finally,the author put forward some relevant suggestions.
