A Contrastive Study On The Interpretation Of Animal Nouns In The Commercial Press Learner’s Dictionary Of Contemporary Chinese And Contemporary Chinese Dictionary

The Commercial Press Learner’s Dictionary of Contemporary Chinese is a representative export-oriented Chinese learner’s Dictionary specially compiled for intermediate level foreigners in China.Dictionaries have made new attempts in many projects,reflecting the new concept of compilation.As a normative Chinese dictionary,Contemporary Chinese Dictionary has been quite representative in terms of word collection and interpretation since it was published in the 1970 s.It is the most influential Chinese dictionary in China at present.Many dictionaries refer to the achievements of Contemporary Chinese Dictionary in the process of compilation.Based on different types of dictionaries,different interpretations should be made.The prominent semantic features of the differences make dictionaries more practical and targeted,which is conducive to the concept of standardization and systematization of dictionary interpretation.This paper selects the Commercial Press Learner’s Dictionary of Contemporary Chinese and understanding dictionary Contemporary Chinese Dictionary as the typical research objects,takes the animal entries in the two dictionaries as the closed corpus,adopts the method of quantitative analysis and comparative analysis,under the guidance of lexicography theory,through the comparison of the multi-dimensional perspectives of animal entries,such as word collection,interpretation,examples and cultural information,finds out the relationship between dictionary interpretation and dictionary type The level of fit.This study takes the Contemporary Chinese Dictionary as a reference and the study of the Commercial Press Learner’s Dictionary of Contemporary Chinese as the main goal to reveal whether the interpretation of the export-oriented dictionary fits the inspection of non-native speakers and the differences between the two dictionaries.This paper is divided into six chapters:Introduction.The research on the foreign oriented learning dictionary,the general Chinese dictionary and the research on the definition of animal entries are summarized,and then the research object,significance and research method of this paper are introduced.The first chapter is about the collection of animal entries in learning Commercial Press Learner’s Dictionary of Contemporary Chinese and Contemporary Chinese Dictionary.This paper makes exhaustive statistics on the animal entries in learning Commercial Press Learner’s Dictionary of Contemporary Chinese and Contemporary Chinese Dictionary.First of all,make a comprehensive statistics of the two dictionaries,check the data;second,compare and analyze the differences between the two dictionaries,and make a comparison and description of the two dictionaries.The second chapter is a comparative study of the interpretation of animal entries in Commercial Press Learner’s Dictionary of Contemporary Chinese and Contemporary Chinese Dictionary.Firstly,this paper makes a comparative analysis of the meanings of the animal entries in the two dictionaries,and puts forward some suggestions for the optimization of the meaning setting.secondly,the author compares and describes the definition characteristics of the animal entries in the two dictionaries;thirdly,it makes a comparative analysis of the illustrations of the two dictionaries.The third chapter is a comparative study of the examples of animal entries in Commercial Press Learner’s Dictionary of Contemporary Chinese and Contemporary Chinese Dictionary.The quantity,type,semantic,grammatical information and cultural information of the examples are described and analyzed.The fourth chapter is a comparative study of the cultural information of the animal entries in Commercial Press Learner’s Dictionary of Contemporary Chinese and Contemporary Chinese Dictionary.Firstly,it summarizes the cultural information of animal entries in the two dictionaries;Secondly,according to the compilation types of different dictionaries,this paper puts forward the optimization suggestions of cultural information.Summary.Make a summary of the full text,summarize the ideas of the full text and the problems arising from the above comparative analysis,point out the shortcomings of the paper,and put forward new thinking.
