| The thesis takes the adjectives of C-class and D-class as the research objects,which are co-collected by the foreign-oriented Chinese dictionary The Commercial Press Learner’s Dictionary of Contemporary Chinese(《商务馆学汉语词典》)(Learn Chinese for short),A Chinese Dictionary For Learners And Teachers(《汉语教与学词典》)(Teaching and Learning for short)and the domestic-oriented Chinese dictionary Modern Chinese Dictionary(7th Edition)(《现代汉语词典》第7版)(XianHan(7th Edition)for short).It compares and studies the definition of adjective from the aspects of the adjective entries collection,the definition language,the definition methods,and the illustrative examples,analyzes the similarities and differences of the adjective definition in the foreign and domestic oriented dictionary,including their respective characteristics,the rules of definition,the selection criteria of illustrative examples.And the data and suggestions for the construction and optimization of the adjective definition in the foreign and domestic oriented dictionary are provided.The full thesis includes six chapters:The first chapter summarizes the research on the definition of adjective related to the foreign and domestic oriented dictionary,leads to the research object,research significance and research methods of this thesis,and explains the significance of the subject and the theoretical basis.The second chapter counts all C-class and D-class adjectives in the foreign and domestic oriented dictionary.First,we conduct comprehensive statistics on the data and check the accuracy of the data.Second,we make a preliminary comparison and description of the principle which is applied to collecting secondary common vocabularies in two foreign-oriented dictionaries.The third chapter divides the definition language of C-class and D-class adjectives co-collected by the foreign and domestic oriented dictionary and obtain the definition vocabularies.And in terms of the Chinese Proficiency Vocabulary and Chinese Character Hierarchy Outline(《汉语水平词汇与汉字等级大纲》),we make a grading annotation of these definition vocabularies,with the combination of quantitative and qualitative methods to check whether dictionary definition conforms to the principles of simplicity and closed loop.And we try to answer the questions that have been checked out,and make suggestions for optimizing the definition.The thesis also extracts the restricted vocabularies of adjective definition in the foreign-oriented dictionary,hoping to provide reference for the selection of adjective definition primitives in dictionary compilation in the future.The fourth chapter is based on the special subject study on the definition method in the academic circles,According to the specific corpus,we divided the definition method of this article into three main categories and nine sub-categories.On this basis,the paper investigates the special definition methods in the foreign and domestic oriented dictionary,including the similarities and differences between the two types of dictionaries,as well as the prominent paths and practical results of the "foreign-oriented" features of the foreign-oriented dictionary.The fifth chapter is about the examination of adjective example,including the number and type of examples,and the actual examples of each adjective definition.The advantages and disadvantages of the foreign and domestic oriented dictionary be found in the examination of examples.And we try to propose solutions.The sixth chapter is the summary and reflection.It is the summary of the thesis,and we make a detailed summary of the thoughts,trajectories and findings of the full text,and put forward the new reflection.The thesis is mainly based on quantitative analysis,with comparison as the main method,and taking the definition content in the closed domain as comparative item.The special study on the definition of special vocabulary in special dictionary is made,drawing on and absorbing recent achievements in theoretical studies such as lexicography and lexicology. |
