Chinese characters are a major difficulty in Chinese learning.International students often make mistakes when learning Chinese characters.As a component of Chinese characters,radicals play the role of meaning or sound in the whole Chinese characters,and they are an indispensable part of Chinese characters.Native Chinese learners will be confused when learning radicals of Chinese characters.For international students,the learning of radicals that are close in shape and easy to mix is even more difficult for Chinese learning.Based on the "Chinese Proficiency Vocabulary and Chinese Character Grade Syllabus" and "HSK Comprehensive Course",this paper takes the "亻" and "彳" radical characters as examples to explore the problems of the mixed radical characters in Chinese characters in teaching Chinese as a foreign language,and then analyze the problems,Summarize experience,provide solutions,deepen international students’ understanding of radicals,deepen their understanding of Chinese characters,and improve the efficiency of Chinese character learning.This article is divided into five major modules:The first chapter introduces the reasons for the topic selection,research purpose,research significance,research methods,etc.,and clarifies the meaning and purpose of writing this article.The second chapter explains the origins of the radicals of "亻" and "彳" and their respective meanings and connotations,so as to fully understand the meaning of the radicals and provide a theoretical basis for the following text.The third chapter is to make statistics on the distribution of the radical characters "亻" and "彳" in the "Outline" and "Tutorial",and then do a questionnaire to learn more intuitively and clearly from the data when studying such radicals.The problems encountered lay the foundation for the error analysis later.The fourth chapter discusses the error types of "亻" and "彳" radical characters and analyzes the reasons for the errors from various angles,and provides a basis for the following teaching suggestions.Chapter 5 proposes suggestions for teaching Chinese as a foreign language from the perspectives of teaching materials,teachers,and students based on the above content.
