| As an important reserve force for teachers of Chinese language and international education,Master of Teaching Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages(hereinafter referred to as "MTCSOL")has attracted much attention since its enrollment began in 2007 and the low counterpart employment rate has become a more obvious and common problem.Career choice of MTCSOL is influenced by national policy,workplace,career stability,social pressure and other aspects.Employment choice of MTCSOL is not only a result,but also a social action influenced by internal and external environment.In order to explore the relevant situation of MTCSOL’s employment action,this paper mainly studies it from five parts.The first part includes the research significance,literature review,research ideas and research methods of the topic;The second part mainly defines the relevant concepts and analyzes the applicability of the theory.The third part makes a theoretical hypothesis for the employment action type of MTCSOL and verifies it by means of questionnaire survey.The fourth part uses the qualitative interview research method to further analyze the process and influencing factors of MTCSOL’s employment action.The fifth part mainly carries on the strategy analysis according to the investigation result.On the basis of Max Weber’s research about social action theory,through investigation and analysis,the employment action types of MTCSOL can be divided into four types:growth type,withdrawal type,appeal type and transition type.At the same time,influenced by internal and external factors,these four types of employment actions can be transformed,and there are three typical transformation paths:(1)Transition-growth/Transition-withdrawal transformation path;(2)Withdrawal-transition transformation path;(3)Single type transformation path(firm growth/withdrawal).The influencing factors that promote the formation of these three transformation paths can be roughly classified into four aspects:policy support,school training,industry support and individual efforts.In order to promote employment and retain more professionals to contribute to the development of the industry,the following suggestions are put forward according to the four influencing factors of employment action type transformation of MTCSOL.In terms of government guidance,firstly,control the enrollment scale,ensure the quality of students,and standardize the discipline orientation.Second,we should set up a grading and evaluation standard for international Chinese language teachers.Third,provide preferential employment policies for volunteers after they return to China;In the aspect of school education,firstly,we should improve the talent training system that integrates knowledge structure and ability structure.Second,improve the teaching plan,form a closed-loop training mode from theory to practice and then to theory.Third,establishing the employment guidance system with the parallel career development and industry development;In terms of industry guidance,firstly,we should explore the communication system of information exchange and suggestion interaction.Second,build a "high-level talent" platform of global Chinese Language Organization.Third,we should set up faith education,stimulate endogenous motivation,carry out Innovation and Entrepreneurship Education,and improve external ability.In the subjective aspect,first,we should cultivate an open employment mentality with a global perspective.Second,establish self-improvement awareness,clear career development plan.Through these four efforts,we will continue to promote the transformation of MTCSOL’s employment actions to growth. |
