The teaching of Chinese as a second language has trained numerous Chinese language professionals since it became a real business and a discipline,and has contributed to the training of professionals in this field.However,in the actual understanding of the situation,it is found that there is no procedure that can systematically measure the competence of the master of Teaching Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages,except for final grades and lecture competitions,which is not conducive to both the school and the students to grasp the final training effect,and there is a certain gap in the professional competence of different the master,and some of them are not well qualified for the career of international Chinese teachers.Therefore,this paper selects the master of Teaching Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages from the International College of Southwest University as the research object,and forms the professional competency model of the master used in this study on the basis of the "Competency Structure and Characteristics of Chinese Language Teacher Volunteers in the US and Thailand" jointly constructed by Feng Liping and the "Competency Model of Chinese Language International Teachers" established by Wang Jing.The model includes five dimensions: language knowledge and skills,Chinese culture and communication,intercultural communication literacy,role awareness and personality traits,and career development.The model was then used to develop the master of Teaching Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages career competency scale,which became an important part of the questionnaire.In addition,this study also used the SPSS25.0 statistical software to analyse the data from the questionnaire results,and on the basis of the overall grasp,selected the respondents with better and worse career competence performance for interviews,analyzed the characteristics and reasons,and finally put forward suggestions for the enhancement of the career competence.It is hoped that it can provide some help to enrich the theory of professional competence and to enhance the professional competence.The process is embodied in five parts of the thesis: Introduction,Survey and Statistical Analysis of the Professional Competence of the Master of Teaching Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages,Analysis of the Professional Competence of Master of Teaching Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages as a whole,Comparison of the Excellent Sample and the General Sample of the Master of Teaching Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages,and Suggestions for the Improvement of the Professional Competence of the Master of Teaching Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages,all of which are closely related to the five dimensions of the model.
