In recent years,the development of China has attracted more and more foreigners to learn Chinese.In order to adapt to the new situation,the academic degrees Office of the State Council has issued a circular approving the formal establishment of a master’s degree in Chinese international education in universities in 2007,approving the formal establishment of master’s degree of international Chinese education in Colleges,which has played a positive role in promoting the internationalization of Chinese.The major of master of Chinese international education is set up to alleviate “the shortage of foreign Chinese teachers”.UP to now it has been developing for 14 years,and the number of graduates has increased,but the employment situation is not optimistic.This paper takes the graduates of Chinese International Education(all referred to as“Hanshuo graduates”)as the research object,combined with the People-Job Matching theory of American psychologist Parsons,through the method of questionnaire and interview to understand the employment situation of Hanshuo graduates.In order to do a good job in this study,we first sort out the theory of People-Job Matching,extract the factors that may affect the employment,and at the same time,combined with the “guiding training program for full-time Chinese International Education Master’s degree postgraduates”,formulate the specific measurement index of the professional Postgraduates’ Employment Evaluation.Then,according to the evaluation index obtained from the analysis,a questionnaire is made to understand the employment situation of the graduates of this major by means of questionnaire,statistical analysis and interview.The survey found that there are six difficulties in the employment of Han Shuo graduates: the “public understanding of Han Shuo’s specialty is vague,professional counterparts are less and difficult,graduates’ job satisfaction is not high,salary and welfare and occupation prospects are general,employment channels are single,policies are not clear,COVID-19 is aggravating employment difficulties” and so on.Starting from the employment dilemma,combined with the results of questionnaire and interview,this paper analyzes in detail the main factors affecting the employment of Han Shuo master graduates.Finally,from the five aspects of improving their own quality,doing a good job in career planning,optimizing training methods,broadening employment channels and improving relevant policies,this paper puts forward strategies and suggestions for improving the employment situation of Han Shuo master graduates,hoping to provide help for the employment guidance of the students.
