With the acceleration of the aging process, the problem of providing for the aged has become the focus of the society.Of all the service needs, nursing needs are undoubtedly the most basic. The demands of the elderly for nursing care have gradually increased from food and clothing to life care, technical care, rehabilitation care, psychological care and other aspects of the content, service requirements are more advanced and refined. As a result, the nursing staff, which is composed mainly of middle-aged women who have not received systematic training,is no longer competent for increasingly advanced nursing services, the graduates of old-age service specialty in higher vocational colleges will be the main force to improve the whole nursing staff.Liaoning Province is one of the regions with more serious aging population in the country. It is of great theoretical and practical significance to have an in-depth understanding and analysis of the demand and supply of Outstanding Aged Services Industry Workers in Liaoning Province, especially caregiver for the elderly, and to think about how higher vocational colleges can better contribute to the cultivation of Outstanding Aged Services Industry Workers. This paper makes an overall analysis of the Outstanding Aged Services Industry Workers and graduates majoring in elderly care services in Liaoning Province, and uses the quadratic exponential smoothing method to predict the supply and demand of caregiver for the elderly in Liaoning Province by reading a large number of relevant materials and collecting corresponding statistical data. The study found that the number of elderly people aged 60 and over in Liaoning Province will continue to increase in the future, while the number of caregiver for the elderly will remain in a stable state. There is no growth trend, and the gap may gradually increase. There is a great demand for Outstanding Aged Services Industry Workers. However,at present, there are fewer than 600 graduates of nursing majors in higher vocational colleges each year, and the willingness to engage in the pension industry is not strong enough, and the brain drain rate is high. The main reasons are the difficulty in recruiting senior care majors, the inaccurate positioning of training objectives, and the inability of education and teaching resources to keep up with the requirements of talent training. In view of the above factors, this paper puts forward some suggestions from the following aspects: First, strengthen the enrollment,multi-pronged to enhance the attractiveness of the old-age service specialty;second, according to the needs of the old-age industry, scientifically and dynamically adjust the training objectives of the old-age service specialty;third,to strengthen the construction of teaching staff and ensure the quality of education and teaching;fourth,to increase the practical content of personnel training through deep cooperation between schools and enterprises;fifth,to serve the society, make use of the superior resources of higher vocational colleges to help the society train the nursing staff for the aged and increase the professional ethics and social responsibility of the students majoring in old-age service, gradually increase the establishment of professional institutions for the aged;seventh, institutions linked to government enterprises, called for higher salary treatment. It is necessary to make a concerted effort to reverse the present plight of the aged nursing staff.
