| Objective: To explore the clinical and pathological features of patients with lung cancer in Yanbian area at different ages,so as to provide clinical reference for early detection of lung cancer in this area. Methods: A total of 1356 patients with lung cancer who were hospitalized in the affiliated Hospital of Yanbian University from January 2009 to December 2016 and confirmed by cytology or pathology were collected.According to the World Health Organization(WHO),the young group is divided into ≤ 44 years old,the middle-aged group is 45-59 years old,and the old group is ≥ 60 years old.The gender, nationality, smoking history, pathological type, clinical stage, complication and serum carcinoembryonic antigen(CEA)of different age groups were compared and analyzed. The pathological types of different age groups were compared with gender, nationality, smoking history, clinical stage. Results: The ratio of male to female in the elderly group was 2.31:1,which was higher than that in the young group 1.19:1,(P < 0.05).The ratio of Han nationality to Korean-Chinese in the young group was 2.52:1,which was higher than that in the old group 1.05:1,(P < 0.05).The constituent ratio of smokers in the middle-aged group and the elderly group was higher than that in the young group(P < 0.001).In the middle-aged and elderly group, the constituent ratio of Han nationality males was higher than that of females, and that of Korean-chinese males is higher than that of females. In the young group, the constituent ratio of Han nationality non-smokers was higher than that of smokers and Korean-chinese non-smokers was higher than that of smokers(P< 0.05).The constituent ratio of squamous cell carcinoma in the elderly group was higher than that in the young group(P < 0.05).In the young group, the middle-aged group and the old group, the constituent ratio of adenocarcinoma in female was higher than that in male, while the constituent ratio of squamous cell carcinoma in female was lower than that in male(P<0.001).In all cases, the constituent ratio of squamous cell carcinoma of Korean-chinese was higher than that of Han nationality, and the constituent ratio of small cell carcinoma of Korean-chinese was lower than that of Han nationality(P<0.05).In the middle-aged and elderly group and all lung cancer patients, the constituent ratio of adenocarcinoma smokers was lower than that of non-smokers,while that of squamous cell carcinoma smokers was higher than that of non-smokers(P < 0.001).In the middle-aged group, the constituent ratio of smokers with small cell carcinoma was higher than that of non-smokers(P < 0.001).The constituent ratio of hypertension was the highest in the elderly group, the second in the middle-aged group and the lowest in the young group(P < 0.001).The constituent ratio of coronary heart disease and cerebral infarction in the elderly group was higher than that in the middle-aged group(P < 0.05).The expression level of CEA in the elderly group was higher than that in the middle-aged group(P < 0.05).Conclusion: 1.There were differences in gender, smoking history, nationality, pathological type, complication and CEA expression among the young group,middle-aged group and old group of lung cancer patients in Yanbian area, but there was no difference in gender and smoking history between Han nationality and Korean-chinese.2.In the elderly group, most of the patients were male, smokers, often complicated with cardio-cerebrovascular diseases, high expression of CEA and the main pathological type was squamous cell carcinoma.3.Lung cancer in Yanbian area, the constituent ratio of squamous cell carcinoma of Korean-chinese was higher than that of Han nationality, and the constituent ratio of small cell carcinoma was lower than that of Han nationality. |
