| Objective: With the development of society and economy,job burnout is a growing problem in many industries.The medical staff China has a large population,their special work nature,unstable working environment and complex doctor-patient relationship make them a high incidence group of job burnout.The medical staff is a special group,their work is closely related to people’s health,so their physical and mental health not only affects the development of their individuals,but also related to the level of medical services in our country.This study will analyze the influence of doctor-patient relationship and social support on the job burnout of medical staff,based on the theory of social support,countermeasures and suggestions are put forward to alleviate the job burnout of medical staff and build harmonious doctor-patient relationship.Methods: A total of 674 medical staffs in a hospital of Guiyang were selected as study subjects by stratified random sampling method and investigated using the Maslach Burnout Questionnaire,Doctor-patient relationship Questionnaire and Social Support Scale.Use Epidata3.1 to input data,analysis of variance was carried out using SPSS22.0 statistical software,Pearson correlation analysis and multivariate analysis were used to analyze the associations among variances.Amos 22.0 statistical software was used to fit and verify the theoretical model by using structural equation model and to evaluate the direct and indirect effects of interaction between variables.Interview the medical staff of the hospital,and summarize,analyze and sort out the interview data.Results: Gender,age,marital status,position,professional title,education level and income had significant influence on job burnout.The doctor-patient relationship has a positive predictive effect on emotional exhaustion and depersonalization,whilethe doctor-patient relationship has a negative predictive effect on personal accomplishment.Social support can negatively predict emotional exhaustion and depersonalization,while social support can positively predict personal accomplishment.Social support mediates in doctor-patient relationship and emotional exhaustion,social support mediates in doctor-patient relationship and depersonalization,and social support mediates in doctor-patient relationship and personal accomplishment.Conclusion: Doctor-patient relationship and social support have significant effects on job burnout of medical staff,Social support plays a mediating role in the relationship between doctor-patient relationship and job burnout,Harmonious doctor-patient relationship and high social support are effective ways to eliminate or reduce the risk of job burnout.Based on the research results and from the perspective of social support theory,The prevention and intervention measures of job burnout are put forward to ease the job burnout and build a harmonious doctor-patient relationship. |
