| ObjectsThis study aims to describe the status of nurses’ second victim support,psychological resilience,and career success,explore the impact of nurses’ second victim support and psychological resilience on career success,and provide for the development of strategies related to nurses’ second victim career success theoretical basis.MethodsThe convenience sampling method was adopted to survey 623 nurses through the questionnaire star platform,and the questionnaire survey was conducted using the general information questionnaire,the second victim support scale,the psychological resilience scale and the career success scale.Use Excel and SPSS 22.0 software to input and analyze the data.Results1.Among the 623 nurses who were the second victims,the higher percentages were:607 nurses are female(97.43%);323 nurses(51.85%)aged between 20 and 30;395 married(63.40%);468 undergraduates(75.12%);monthly income of 5,000 to 10000,408 people(65.49%);431 people(69.18%)under contract system;243 nurses(39.00%);185 people(29.70%)working for 10~20 years There are 413 people(66.29%)working 40-60 hours per week;331 people(53.13%)who experience adverse events≥2 times;all adverse events are reported to 486 people(78.01%).2.The average score of the second victim support items of nurses was(2.41±0.62),the average score of management support dimensional items was the lowest(2.37±0.70),and the average score of relatives and friends support dimensional items was the highest(2.56±0.93);among them,165 cases were divided into groups with low support(26.4%),254 cases(40.9%)were grouped with medium support,and 204 cases(32.7%)were grouped with high support.The average score of psychological resilience items is(3.55±0.67);Among them,there were 175 cases(28.1%)in the low-level resilience group,261 cases(41.9%)in the middle-level resilience group,and 187 cases(30.0%)in the high-level resilience group.The average score of the nurse second victim’s career success scale items was(3.29±0.61),the career satisfaction dimension item had the highest average score(3.44±0.72),and the intraorganization competition dimension item had the lowest average score(3.09±0.81).3.Univariate analysis results:(1)The second victim support of nurses differed among groups of different gender,age,marital status,and working years,and it was statistically significant(P<0.05).(2)The psychological resilience of the second victim of nurses differed among groups of different ages,marriages,incomes,employment methods,professional titles and working years,and it was statistically significant(P<0.05).(3)The career success of the second victim of nurses differed among different groups of monthly income,job title and weekly working hours,and it was statistically significant(P<0.05).4.Comparative analysis and correlation analysis:The career success level of nurses differed among different second victim support score groups(P<0.001),that is,the group with low support>the group with medium support>the group with high support(reverse scoring).The career success of nurses differed among different groups of the second victim’s psychological resilience score(P<0.001),that is,the low-level resilience group<the medium-level resilience group<the high-level resilience group.The second victim’s support score and career success score were moderately negatively correlated(r=-0.428;P<0.01),while the second victim’s psychological resilience score and career success score were moderately positively correlated(r=0.544;P<0.01).5.Multiple linear regression analysis:The second victim support and psychological resilience of nurses(β=-0.225,0.441;P<0.001)have a significant impact on the total score of career success.Analyze its dimensions:Management support and psychological resilience have a significant impact on the total score of career satisfaction dimension(β=-0.241,0.417;P<0.001);Management support(β=-0.229,P<0.001),support from relatives and friends(β=-0.089,P<0.05),and psychological resilience(β=0.290,P<0.001)have a significant impact on the total score of the competition dimension within the organization;The support of relatives and friends(β=-0.093,P<0.05)and psychological resilience(β=0.348,P<0.001)had a significant influence on the total score of the dimension of competition outside the organization.Conclusions1.The second victim support of nurses is at a medium level.Gender,age,marital status and working years are the influencing factors for the second victim support.The psychological resilience of the second victim of nurses is at a moderate level.Age,marital status,monthly income,employment method,job title and working years are the influencing factors of the psychological resilience of the second nurse.The career success of the second victim of nurses is at a medium level.Monthly income,job title and weekly working hours are the influencing factors of the career success of the second victim of nurses.2.Nurses’ second victim support,psychological resilience and career success are all positively correlated with a moderate degree.3.Nurses’ second victim support can effectively improve the level of career success.Improving nurses’ second victim management support can help improve their professional satisfaction and the level of intra-organizational competition.Increasing the nurse’s second victim’s relatives and friends’ support can increase their intra-organizational competition.Strength and competitiveness outside the organization;improving the psychological resilience level of the second victim of nurses is conducive to promoting their career success. |
