ObjectiveTo explore the effect of Employee Assistance Program on the psychological capital of employed nurses.To provide new methods and new ways to increase the psychological capital of employed nurses,and thus to increase the enthusiasm of the employed nurses,new methods and approaches are provided.Promoting the healthy development of career nursesMethodsCluster sampling method from April 2016 to October 2017,280 employed contract nurses who have signed a contract in a three-level hospital in Jinzhou are selected as research objects.Conduct interviews and questionnaires for them.The questionnaire includes general demographic data questionnaires,psychological capital questionnaires,and career success scales.And use the Employee Assistance Program to intervene,after the intervention,the same questionnaire was used again for the survey.The number of people who participated in and collected valid questionnaires was 259,and the effective rate was 92.5%.SPSS 22.0 was used for statistical analysis of the data,P<0.05 was considered statistically significant.Results1.In this study,259 clinical employed nurses,the total score of psychological capital(81.08±11.09)before the implementation of Employee Assistance Program intervention was divided into(3.38±0.46)points,and the average score of each dimension exceeded the average score of the scale by 3 points.Demonstrate that the research subject’s psychological capital is at a medium level,and each dimension scores from high to low for self-efficacy,optimism,resilience,and hope.The total score of career success before intervention is(37.90±7.95)points,and the average score is(3.45±0.72)points.The average score of each dimension exceeds the average score of the scale by 3 points.Prove that the research subject’s career success is at a medium level,and the scores from the highest to the lowest are occupational satisfaction,out-of-organization competitiveness,and intra-organizational competitiveness2.There was a positive correlation between psychological capital and career success(P<0.01).The total score correlation value was r=0.880(P<0.05).That is,the higher the psychological capital,the higher the career success,indicating that the increase of psychological capital of research subjects can promote improvement.Research object career success3.The career success is divided into dependent variables,psychological capital dimensions,and the general demographic data of the study subjects as independent variables for multiple stepwise regression analysis.There are self-efficacy,hope,resilience,optimism,and marital status in entering the regression analysis equation.Among them,self-efficacy,hope,resilience,and optimism are positive predictive functions.Only marital status is a negative predictive factor,explaining 77.8% of the total variation.,Total F=181.879,P<0.01.4.There was a significant difference between the total score of psychological capital and total score before intervention in 259 clinical employed nurses after intervention of Employee Assistance Program(P<0.05).Between the dimensions,except for the self-efficacy score and the pre-intervention difference,there was no statistical significance(P>0.05),the other three dimensions had significant differences before and after intervention(P<0.05).The total scores of psychological capital and scores in each dimension were positively correlated before and after intervention(P<0.05).After intervention of psychological capital of employed nurses,the difference between the total score of career success and the total score before the intervention was statistically significant(P<0.05),and there was a statistically significant difference between the scores before and after intervention in each dimension score(P<0.05).The scores of career success and scores in each dimension were positively correlated with the pre-intervention(P<0.05)Conclusion1.Employee Assistance Program has a significant effect on improving the psychological capital of employed nurses.2.Employee Assistance Program has a significant effect on improving the career success of employed nurses.3.Promoting the psychological capital of employed nurses can effectively promote their career success.
