Research On The Renewal Strategy Of Community Public Space Based On The Concept Of Children Friendly

As a country with a large population in the world,China has a huge number of children.After the introduction of the two-child policy in 2014,the number of children is gradually increasing.Community is the most basic place for residents’ life,and community public space is also an important place for children’s social life,which should be paid more attention.Children’s participation in community governance can increase children’s sense of identity and belonging in community life,build the practice of CO governance and sharing,and let children grow up healthily in community life and get a sense of happiness.As City builders,we need to explore the concept of Children Friendly City Construction with Chinese characteristics and more micro strategies of children friendly community construction.This paper selects Chengdu community as an example,from the community level,with children’s community life as the starting point,public space construction as the focus,to find solutions to the problems of less public activity venues,single function,lack of interest and low safety in urban community,and to explore how to provide a community environment to meet the physiological and psychological needs of community children,which is conducive to children’s health and happiness The renewal strategy of growing community public space.To build a green,healthy and harmonious living environment for children in the community,to plan a safe,free,interesting and healthy community public space for children,to create a space image with a sense of belonging and identity for children and their families,and to express the concept of children friendly urban development.In addition,this study enriches the theory of urban construction related to architecture,planning and landscape,and provides some reference and suggestions for the future practice and exploration in this field.This paper summarizes children’s physiological and psychological characteristics,analyzes the factors affecting children’s activities,and explores the interaction between community public space and children’s activities.Through drawing icon analysis,expert interviews,questionnaires and other ways,this paper analyzes the children friendly degree of Chengdu community public space,sorts out the coexistence problems,regional characteristics,and construction direction of Chengdu Community in the aspect of children friendly,and then puts forward the renewal strategy of children friendly community public space for Chengdu Community.
