Research On Public Space Design Of Huaao Community In Mianyang City Based On The Theory Of Child-friendly City

Community public space carries the vast majority of daily activities of community residents,and is also the most frequently used environment for children.The space environment directly or indirectly affects the development of children.Research shows that the first few years of life play a vital role in people’s lives,such as learning,behavioral habits,and health.Children grow up in a community environment and develop cognitive and social skills in an environment that is easy to stimulate potential.Positive environmental qualities will benefit children ’s development and become part of sustainable development based on human rights.This study is based on child-friendly city-related theories,and takes the public space of Huaao Community in Mianyang City as the research object to raise questions.It adopts literature reading method,field investigation method,experience summary method,interview method to the child-friendly theory,and the elements of community public space.To conduct in-depth research and analysis,complete the overall design of the public space of Huaao Community and the design of space nodes.The conclusion is used to guide the design of public space of Huaao Community and create a living environment that promotes the development of children.The content of this article is mainly divided into three parts:First,it introduces the concepts related to child-friendly cities and community public spaces,and expounds child-friendly theories,including the relationship between games,transportation,nature,and places and the development of children,as well as the design content of community public spaces.The investigation and design of public spaces provide the necessary theoretical basis.Secondly,conduct investigation and analysis on the public space of Huaao Community in Mianyang City,investigate and analyze the traffic,street space,green space,and community activities of the site,raise the existing problems of space,and carry out children on the public space of Huaao Community on this basis.Friendly renovation.Finally,based on the questions raised,I summarized a number of child-friendly practice cases,studied what kind of public space is child-friendly,determined the design goals,principles,and design strategies,and elaborated several key streets in detail.The conclusion summarizes the shortcomings in the design process and the expectations for the future.
