Current our country has entered the stage of stock update,urban development and pay more attention to improving the quality of the living environment and life,and pay attention to meet the needs of people for a better life Distribution in the community of the negative space reduces the quality of life,affect the community vitality,negative space at the same time as the memory space,and enhance the quality of community life increases the potential of urban diversity,and thus activate and use community negative energy become the important topic of the space,has important practical significance Affordable housing community in Beijing is too big Pei Jian the problem of insufficient facilities,and with the development of city,community structure location and residents are fundamental changes have taken place,the community has negative external space,lack of life breath The monotonous functional facilities have been unable to meet the needs of residents’ daily life and are in urgent need of renewal.Based on literature review,this paper sorts out the characteristics of the development and micro-renewal of the concept of urban renewal,and makes a systematic study of the development overview of affordable housing communities in Beijing and the cases of community renewal at home and abroad to provide a theoretical basis Through the research of Beijing five affordable housing than later found that the problem is common,choose the most representative lue garden community,in-depth survey and visiting,demand analysis of present situation and the space in the community residents,with space negativity to define the principle and properties of normality and spatial functions classifying lue garden community negative space,then summarized the affordable housing community negative Based on the summary of current problems and activation principles,this paper puts forward specific transformation strategies for each type of negative community space from two aspects of negative normal space activation and negative irregular space activation by means of urban micro-renewal Finally,an empirical study on the activation design of the negative space in the Longyueyuan community is carried out in order to explore the activation,renewal and transformation methods of the negative space in the affordable community,so as to provide replicable experience for the reconstruction research of the affordable community in the future.
