Study Of Relationship Between Public Space And Activity Behaviors In Large Affordable Housing Community

In contemporary Chinese urban construction practice,the quantity and quality of housing have been greatly improved.However,the current urban construction pays more attention to the "function" of the building and lacks the overall consideration of public space outside the building,especially the public space within the residential area.In order to further improve the quality of living environment and living standard,it is essential to create high-quality daily public space within the living area.In recent years,many cities have carried out the construction of indemnificatory housing communities,among which the public leisure activities of middle-and low-income residents are relatively limited.It is more necessary to improve the quality of public space in indemnificatory housing communities to meet their leisure needs.This article selects the Daishan Newtown,the most representative large affordable housing community in Nanjing,to carry on the empirical analysis,by means of space syntax and on-the-spot record for space and public space attribute data structure,data of the public activities behavior through the investigation to obtain public space and the relationship between the behavior of the residents’ activities,clear spatial structure,spatial and environmental factors on the influence of the behavior of the residents’ activities.By analyzing the adaptability and contradiction between the spatial reality of community and the daily activities and behaviors of middle-and low-income residents,this paper tries to find out the deficiencies of the indemnificatory community living environment model under the existing design concept and practice environment,and find some ideas and directions for the construction of better community public space.The results show that the community space structure of space syntax data,near the commercial activity,the hard activity area on the site had significant effect on the activity of quality and quantity of public space,which is near the school,factors such as area,green area is surrounded degree and almost no correlation between the activities of the public space quality,these conclusions for improving low-income community public space configuration and improving the quality of its public space provide a reference basis of design..If the public space in the widely distributed urban residential community can be transformed from the attached end of the building into an active activity space carrier,it can not only enrich the daily life of the majority of urban residents,but also promote social interaction and improve the spatial quality of the whole urban area.
