| Outdoor space lighting in residential areas has a vital impact on residents’ going out and personal safety.Insufficient lighting may reduce pedestrian safety and affect the night’s vitality of the community. However, excessive outdoor lighting can also cause huge energy consumption.Form light pollution, incurring financial and environmental costs. Therefore,it is necessary to develop outdoor lighting applications that can meet user needs and save energy. This research aims to collect people’s safety and comfort evaluations in different lighting environments through actual measurement of ground night light parameters, and establish a correlation model between perception evaluation and lighting parameters to provide lighting design in different areas and different road environments Guidance to improve the quality of pedestrian lighting in public spaces in residential areas and create new perspectives for pedestrian lighting research and optimization. The research is mainly divided into four aspects:(1)Establishment of lighting database based on ground measurement and public perception evaluationBased on the method of combining subjective evaluation scale and ground lighting measurement,8 typical residential areas in Dalian are selected for investigation, and the lighting attributes(illuminance, brightness, spectrum, color temperature, glare degree, etc.)of the measurement points, lighting parameters(light source type,Lighting method, distance between light poles, etc.),road size, and records of the public’s perception and evaluation of these measuring points.Summarize the common problems existing in the lighting of public spaces in residential areas, compare the lighting and evaluation results of residential areas in different areas, and analyze the reasons for the differences.(2)The establishment of a coupling model between the measured value of ground lighting and the evaluation value of safety and comfortPerform regression analysis on subjective evaluation values and measured parameters, establish a public space lighting safety and comfort evaluation model, and obtain the recommended values of residential lighting parameters based on the evaluation model to provide ideas and data support for the optimization of residential public space lighting.(3)Experimental research on the influence of outdoor lighting factors on residents’ perceptionThere are many factors that affect the safety and comfort perception of residents.Based on the results of ground surveys, further research is conducted on the safety of pedestrians walking at night and crime prevention. The mechanism of the perception of glare and the ability of face discrimination are supplemented in the laboratory.Experiments to explore the discomfort of the public under dynamic and static glare,as well as the differences in the recognition of the lower part of different light environments and distances,(4)Proposal of optimization strategies for night light environment in public spaces in residential areas and trial design of optimization schemesBased on the research conclusions of field survey and experimental results, combined with existing lighting standards and other materials, the improvement strategy for the lighting of different functions and areas such as road lighting and billboard lighting in residential areas is proposed.Select four road sections that do not meet the safety and comfort indicators in the survey:residential area-level roads, residential community-level roads,group-level roads, and roads in front of houses as the research objects.Use lighting optimization simulation software to simulate lighting status and analyze lighting The cause of poor quality, and the selection and optimization of lamps according to the improvement strategy to meet the safety and comfort of residents and reduce energy consumption. |
