Research On The Activation Design Of Public Communication Space In Historical District

The theme of the thesis is designing the activation of the public communication space for historical blocks,and using the public communication space as the starting point of the transformation and protection for historical blocks.The communication heat and the overall vitality of the block are improved by transforming the public communication space of the block.The existing needs and problems of the block are clarified by taking Anpin street in Nanjing as an example,through the collection of historical and cultural resources and investigation of current situations.Public communication network system of Anpin street from the four aspects as humanity,activities,transportation and landscape is built on the basic principles of the activation design for public communication space,aiming to build a small-scale public communication space for the block through shaping the system.The purpose of public communication is to build a bridge and promote public communication,so as to continue the traditional street emotion,inherit the historical context of the block and promote the local economic development,and truly activate the anpin street area from the essence.The research mainly focused on re-understanding and combing the relationship between public communication space and regeneration of historical blocks.The combination of early theoretical exploration and field cases is the foreshadowing and explanation for the reconstruction of public communication space,as well as the exploratory guidance for the construction of public communication space network system.Research keypoints include: summarizing and analyzing the development trend of domestic and foreign theories,discussing the relevant theories of public communication space in historical blocks,discussing the design strategies of three typical cases about "residential","commercial" and "cultural" historical blocks,refining the protection elements for the vitality of public communication space,and analyzing the value of reconstruction for public communication space.
