Study On Public Space Of Residential Area In Block Mode

With the continuous development of the social economy,the number of residential block continues to increase and the scale continues to expand.Inevitably,in the city,there have been a series of problems such as traffic jams,destruction of urban fabrics,loss of space vigor,and fragmentation of urban contexts.These have imposed great restrictions on the development of urban space.At the same time,factors such as poor integration of the public space in residential block and urban space,over-distribution,over-simplification of boundary management,and lack of facilities management all lead us to pay enough attention to the public space in residential block.In pursuit of the spatial development of urban settlements,the study of block-based public space has become an inevitable choice to solve traditional issues.It gradually attracted people’s attention and was promoted by policies.The study of block-based public spaces can promote the integration of residential public spaces and cities,and create a reasonable and orderly block form.However,the construction of block-based residential public spaces requires the joint efforts of multiple disciplines to achieve,and therefore there is still a long way to go.In this paper,the research on the public space in residential quarters is carried out through the background,type characteristics,development status,problems faced,and design strategies.Through the literature analysis method,the relevant concepts of the public space under the block mode are defined.We summarized the characteristics of the public space in residential quarters and residential quarters,and summarized the characteristics of residential public space in the neighborhood mode.Through the analysis of the residential block in domestic and foreign,the problems faced by the public space in the residential block are summed up,and the common problems faced by the public space in the residential quarters are analyzed in depth.After that,we put forward specific design strategies for four aspects:organization of road systems,construction of various types of public spaces,layout of supporting facilities,and supervision of management systems.The four aspects specificallyrefer to:(1)The road system organizes motor vehicles and pedestrian traffic together,and combines service facilities,urban environment,and architectural elements through a traffic environment to form a mixed traffic space environment and enhance traffic Functionality and interaction between the landscape environment.(2)Each type of space in a block will be based on openness and leveling,adopting a mix of multifunctional and open layouts,and using a layout of interlocking spaces to achieve a soft and comfortable boundary environment.(3)In the aspect of supporting facilities,the facilities with the same service function will be combined in a centralized manner according to the needs of residents.At the same time,combined with the radiation range of the facility,a decentralized layout should be adopted in order to achieve the integrity of the neighborhood facilities organization.(4)In the area of management systems,design should be based on the specific issues of the neighborhood.In parking,complementary parking should be combined with the time difference between business and residence.In terms of street noise and traffic hazards,roadblocks should be set up to control the speed of the road.The vertical design of the plant and the barrier of the sound barrier should be used to reduce the impact of noise.At the same time,artificial intelligence technology should be included to provide comprehensive protection for the internal safety of the block.Finally,we also propose to strengthen the organic links between public space and urban neighborhoods in residential neighborhoods,increase the support of government’s public policies,formulate detailed planning strategies,and enhance urban design guidance to guide the development of public space in residential block.It is expected that the residential block in our country will develop in a reasonable and effective direction.
