Research On Integration Design Of The Public Space Around The Xiaogongyuan Port Area In Shantou Based On Historical Environment

Since the beginning of the 21 st century,Chinese cities have experienced rapid development,and their historical heritage has been greatly damaged.The importance of historic districts in preserving the city's memory has been gradually emphasized,and the conservation and rehabilitation work has also been gradually emphasized and widely carried out.At the same time,the domestic cognition of the protection of historical blocks extends from the previous protection of single buildings to the protection of the public space environment around historical buildings.Shantou Xiaogongyuan is one of the few modern commercial cities in China that put the concept of "garden city" into practice.Withoot city walls,gates constraints,and far away from the political center,a variety of geographical advantages to the port to expand the development narrative.Modern advanced planning concept determines that it has rich and diversified urban public space,which is closely related to the daily life of citizens.At present,the repair project of Xiaogongyuan opening port is in the initial stage,but it mainly focuses on the repair of buildings,and the public space around the building is still not sorted out and integrated.Therefore,this paper takes the public space of shantou small park area as the research object,and proposes the integrated design method for it.This paper selects the public space in the core area of the small park as the research object.Firstly,it sorts out the existing theoretical studies at home and abroad from the two aspects of historical blocks and public space,and selects typical domestic and foreign practice cases to extract the experience that has reference significance for the Xiaogongyuan area of Shantou.Then,the development process of Xiaogongyuan opening port is analyzed,and the uniqueness of public space in shantou Xiaogongyuan area is summarized based on the reference background of shantou and guangzhou modern municipal planning.For the study on the current situation of public space in Xiaogongyuan,ths paper firstly classifies the public space in this area,and uses the method of six elements of system theory to study,and summarizes the existing problems of all kinds of public space.Finally,the paper puts forward the principle of integrated design for the existing problems of public space in Xiaogongyuan,and puts forward the targeted integrated design method by referring to cases.
