A Study Of The Activation Of Historical And Culture Blocks Based On City Memory In Tading

City memory is the soul of a city,and it is the direct projection of City material form,social culture and community psychology.However,in the context of today’s globalization and convergence of urban development,the memory of a city faces the dilemma of weakening,faulting,and even extinction.Historic relics,cultural relics,historic buildings and blocks that can inherit the memory of a city become isolated islands in the process of modernization renovation because of weakening ties with the city,lack of vitality and low sense of identity.The development of the city is accompanied by the fragmented history and culture,the lack of city characteristics and the reduction of identity.Taiding historical and cultural block in Anshan City is a provincial historical and cultural block,full of years of historical and cultural,historical figures,social strata,features and functional information,as well as block planning,street style,architecture style are the testimony of the city’s memory.Protecting these elements,continuing the urban context,maintaining the collective identity of the citizens and reshaping the vitality of the neighborhood are the urgent problems to be solved.This paper takes Anshan Taiding historical and cultural block as the research object,constructs the relationship between urban memory and the activation of historical and cultural blocks.City memory can be inherited and developed through the old "cultural carrier" of historical and cultural blocks,while historical and cultural blocks are endowed with new vitality through the memory representing the spiritual lifeblood of the City in the period of operation.Based on the theory and operation mechanism of urban memory,this paper makes a case study on the vitality construction of existing historical blocks at home and abroad from the perspective of city memory,and summarizes the reaction mechanism of acquisition,storage,association and recombination projection in the operation of human brain memory,which is manifested in four aspects: induction,practice,extraction and integration of city memory.Based on the research and summary of the relationship among memory form,psychological consciousness and behavioral activities,through the investigation,extracts the prototype elements needed by the block in the above four aspects:induction,practice,extraction and integration,and obtains the corresponding principles of city memoryconstruction.The principle of diversity of memory channels,the principle of systematization of memory crowd,the principle of differentiation of symbolic clues and the principle of spatial morphology sequencing.Based on this principle,this paper summarizes the activation strategies of Taiding historical and cultural blocks from the perspective of urban memory,and summarizes them in four aspects: developing memory channels,cultivating memory groups,using different symbolic clues and integrating spatial forms,so as to enrich the theory of protection and renewal of historical and cultural blocks,and provide reference and guidance for the activation of Tailing historical and cultural blocks.
