| With the increasing aging of urban communities in China,most of the original ordinary communities have gradually transformed into elderly communities.In the context of traditional Chinese old-age care culture,blood relationship has always been the most important link to maintain the family structure,which deeply affects people’s elderly care concepts and behaviors.Therefore,the "Aging In Place" has become the most popular elderly care lifestyle in Chinese cities.Firstly,in this paper,the questionnaire survey method is used to understand the living status of urban elderly and their satisfaction with the living environment.Then,the characteristics of the elderly’s life and the specific needs of the environment in the process of elderly care are analyzed and understood from the aspects of the elderly’s physical fitness,psychological state,and life behavior characteristics.Secondly,through the literature combing method,the cultural roots laid by the elderly care culture for "Aging In Place" and the cultural connotation of the supporting culture in the new era are explained,and the behavioral relationship between the elderly care culture with respecting the elderly,filial piety the elderly and "Aging In Place" is defined.Finally,based on above,the design principles and methods that the "Aging In Place Type" living environment should fully adhere to during the design process were discussed;and the barrier-free,age-appropriate and universal design practices are proposed for the elderly indoor living space,outdoor public activity space,social public service facilities.The future needs of the elderly may be reserved to meet the dynamic needs of the same elderly at different times and the different needs of different groups of people.The “Aging In Place Type” is ingeniously blended with elderly care culture,regional culture,and residential culture to create a community atmosphere of good-neighborliness,caring,and helping the elderly,which helps the elderly achieve active aging and provides them with a better and more comfortable living environment. |
