The campus culture souvenir is not only the enrichment and materialization of the school culture connotation,but also the material bearing of the students’ emotion to the alma mater.This article takes the inheritance and dissemination of the campus characteristic culture as the starting point,and from the emotional level to discusses the emotion and culture that design on the campus culture souvenir.As the Kenya Hara said,design is not only the design of color,shape,but also the demand for spiritual culture and psychological pleasure in the conceptual age.Applies the emotional mapping methods to excavate,extract,extend campus culture,and establish the emotional mechanism that conforms to the human perception,which creates a "two-way communication" between teachers,students,alumni with souvenirs.So as to better communicate the emotions between teachers with students and alumni,also inherit the excellent campus culture.This topic is based on human perception,emotional memory,design prototype and consumer psychology model.It points out the embodiment and value of "emotional mapping" in souvenir design,and summarizes the design implementation procedure and design method of "emotional mapping".To better guide the design practices.In the introduction part of the first chapter,the research object,purpose and meaning of this topic are clarified.The research status of the current campus cultural souvenirs and the future development direction are analyzed,which leads to the emotional design trend of campus culture souvenirs.The second chapter discusses the emotional mapping and its theoretical research,analyzes the process and characteristics of emotional mapping,and the expression of emotional mapping in the souvenir design,and constructs the framework from the design prototype to emotional mapping and to consumer mental model.The third chapter analyzes the characteristics,emotions and cognitive characteristics of campus culture souvenirs.Through user research to clear the real needs of the college user groups.The fourth chapter discusses the significance and value orientation of emotional mapping method in campus culture souvenir design.Designing campus cultural souvenirs from the perspective of emotional mapping,and analyzes the possibility and feasibility of campus cultural souvenir design from the perspective of emotion and information communication.Summed up the value of the emotional mapping method applied in the design of campus culture souvenirs.The fifth chapter expounds the application strategy of emotional mapping method in campus culture souvenirs.Extracts the campus cultural symbols from the tangible image and intangible meaning,and proposes three design methods: use shape extract meaning,use meaning stand of the shape,shape and meaning formed each other,and construct a complete design process through emotionally integrated expressions.In the sixth chapter,taking Chongqing University as an example,the emotional mapping method is used to guide the design of campus cultural souvenirs,and the rationality and value of campus cultural souvenir design are verified through design evaluation system.With the age of experience coming,design is placed in an era of rebuilding emotional language.At present,the design needs of campus cultural souvenirs should not only stay at the functional level,but should be stay more at the embodiment of emotion and culture.This paper uses the emotional mapping method to study the campus cultural souvenirs,which can enrich the design form of campus cultural creative products,present the campus’ s own cultural and emotional experience,and promote the campus brand communication and development.At the same time,the application of the emotional mapping method provides new idea and method for souvenir design,and it also has positive significance for the development of the souvenir market.
