Study On Publicness Evaluation Of Urban Square In Wuhan

With the rapid development of urbanization and the gradual advancement of "social transformation",urban public space plays an increasingly important role in planning reform and human construction.In recent 20 years,there are more and more researches on public space,but the nature of public space-publicness has not been paid enough attention.At present,urban public space is facing various difficulties in planning,management and use of urban public space restrain the expression of publicness.As a pure paradigm in urban public space,these problems are magnified.Therefore,the publicness evaluation of urban square is of great significance to the study of urban public space system.This study takes Wuhan urban square and spatial publicness as the research object,which is divided into four parts.1.Construct a model.On the basis of the study of publicness evaluation model,public dimension,and pre research at home and abroad,this paper constructs a multi-level and multi-dimensional publicness evaluation system of Wuhan urban square;2.In the context of public space,this paper combs the history and current situation of Wuhan urban square,comprehensively and systematically recognizes the research object,and combines the history and current situation to select the typical urban square of Wuhan-Hongshan Square,Shouyi Square;3.Empirical research.Evaluate the publicness of Hongshan Square and Shouyi Square.While verifying the feasibility of the evaluation system,the evaluation results are analyzed,and the problems of public preexisting of urban square are summed up;4.Suggestions and strategies.Put forward suggestions and strategies to improve the publicness of urban square.The purpose of this paper is to fully understand and revive the publicness of Wuhan Urban square.The publicness evaluation system constructed in this paper aims to provide a basic paradigm based on the traditional urban square,which is the purest urban public space,and provide a basic method reference and empirical reference for the follow-up study of more complex and diversified "New Public Space".
