Research On Design Intervention Under The Background Of Culture-driven

During the period of rapid urbanization,the drastic urban renewal has caused many cities to face the situation of collective memory gradually disappearing.The improvement of material space cannot wrap up the reality of the demise of urban cultural connotation.According to the practical experience of western cities in the 1980s,culture has become the driving force of urban renewal.China’s current culture-driven renewal approach is too concerned about the economic benefits of space and the construction of the physical environment.However,there is a lack of sufficient understanding of the positive role of culture in urban society,economy,culture,etc..thus the methods and elements of culture-driven urban renewal Lack of a more comprehensive theoretical combing,logical construction and practical verification.Therefore,based on cultural and community-related theories and case analysis,this article studies the design intervention models and strategies of community renewal and evaluates design practice.The article points out that the way of the culture-driven intervention is the main point in the renewal of the old city.Compared with the method of understanding spatial renewal from regional cultural analysis,"Intervention"has the characteristics of process,interaction and service.On the basis of fully understanding the cultural drive,this article proposes three important aspects of design intervention:spatial renewal,collaborative platform,and innovation strategy,the three forms a culture-driven community renewal model system and process method.This article analyzes and combs the rationality of the model system in combination with domestic cases,and at the same time understands the operating characteristics and methods of different interventions to promote subject intervention.It is proposed that the design intervention of the culture-driven old city renewal should be based on a clear understanding of the subject,procedures and rules,and at the same time propose specific design intervention strategies and analysis methods according to the model system.Back to the study of Shapowei area in Xiamen,we will attempt to sort out Shapowei’s renewed background and renewed mechanism through literature research,and understand field business bottlenecks and their performance through field research and crowd interviews.At the same time,we will find out the potential of the community’s potential cultural field to clarify the cultural driving force of the Shapowei community renewal,thus forming a community development positioning that creates a"regionally linked historical street cultural field".Combined with the promotion of community renewal to promote the main body and the types of cultural fields,conduct practical discussions,and rethink the strategies and practical effects of design intervention.With a view to forming an exemplary operation for the construction of Shapowei cultural field in the future.
