A Study Of Community Renewal Based On Cultural Resilience ——A Case Study On Hongqiao Community Of Guangzhou

Since the theory of resilience was put forward in the 1970 s,it has been introduced into the research methods of urban community development by scholars in various professional fields.Cultural resilience is one of the sub theories of elastic system,which has been studied by foreign scholars since the beginning of the 20 th century.It is mainly used to study and enhance the anti-risk ability of regional culture.In the high-speed development period of China’s reform and opening up,the urban renewal mode of "big demolition and big construction" actually obliterates the historical context of the region and hinders the long-term development of the city.Nowadays,the way of urban community renewal in China has changed from traditional material renewal to multiple renewal,and more attention has been paid to the role of culture in urban development.Leaders pay more attention to the role of culture in urban development.The power of community will also become the power of urban development.Therefore,to protect the community context and strengthen cultural self-confidence will help to promote community development and improve the ability of the community to cope with the challenges of the modernization process.Because "cultural resilience" is still in the stage of theoretical research and lacks systematic application and practice,the author combines theory with practice,on the basis of literature research,combined with more successful neighborhood revitalization practices at home and abroad,and integrated into the knowledge of architectural,sociology,culture,economics and other disciplines,trying to improve community cultural strength and systematize neighborhood revitalization mechanism,Based on the theory of cultural resilience,this paper puts forward specific strategies to build community cultural resilience.The case study of this paper chooses Hongqiao community in Yuexiu District,Guangzhou.Hongqiao community is one of the most cultural communities in the ancient city of Guangzhou.However,due to the development of the times,many valuable historical cultures in the community have not been preserved,and the resources around the community have not been well used in the community development.Therefore,on the basis of theoretical research,this paper takes Hongqiao community as an empirical study of cultural resilience strategy,actively plays the role of community culture,and deepens the feasibility of the strategy.
