The Research Of S Company For Risk Management Of New Vehicle Product Development

With the development of China’s economy,national income has been greatly improved,automotive industry is vigorously developed and has become the main supporting industry of China’s economy increase during the past 30 years under the open door policy.China’s automotive market rises tremendously under “the technic and market exchange policy” and becomes the one of the most important markets in the world.Although it has developed over 30 years,the automotive industry of China is still na?ve in contrast to those in western developed country,which has an over 100 years’ history.Especially in the risk management area,china’s automotive industry is lack of enough experience and competence in not only the risk management system building and also in the aspect of manpower of risk control capability.It leads deficiencies in risk awareness,fault in risk identification,incorrect in risk evaluation and weak capabilities in facing risk.Most automotive companies,both joint venture and local brand automotive companies,follow the normal developing process which get common alignment in automotive industry during their product developing phases.But they always stand the wrong position in risk response,which leads a tremendous lost for company and also lose the key position in competition.In this paper,for the problems above,the research of risk management is from the point of view of a project manager.Through the implement of risk management theory,combined the actual factors in the product development of S company,the research could be an example for further development process of S company.Firstly,this paper introduced the background and significance and routine of the research.Secondly,it introduced the concept of automotive product development,process of the project management and relevant concept of risk management.Thirdly the paper identified the risks in the whole development process of A entry car of S company.The paper adopt the expert assessment method and AHP method,according to risk management process to identify the risks,which probably occur in the development activities of automobile.Afterwards the risk response plan was finished based on the risk evaluations.So that it could help to consummate risk management of new developed product of S company and also help decision-maker to make right decision.
